Mugen 1.0 RC7.The Stage Icelarn which came with the character Nool used to work in WinMugen. It no longer does. The issue is the sound file-Mugen 1.0 is now incompatible with the sound file used, an odd type called ADX. Audacity casn't make head or tail of the file either, so I can't switch it to something else. I've tried copying over the plugins to various places, but that's no good. I remember something special had to be done because of it even when it was released, but I don't remember, nor do I know whether it would apply.Another issue. Although Drowin's work is seen as sub-par, I still possess his Kenshiro. He is no longer functional. The problem is, somehow, his .Snd file. Where it worked before, it does not now. The error message only says the .snd is at fault. It does not say where or why.
1. .adx is a sound file that is lossless and will loop on its own, you may want to check your plugins to see if it is compatible with any of the plugins used in your Mugen. I haven't checked if it's compatible with .adx or not, but do you have RC7 EX+alpha or just regular RC7? The former has all of the plugins you should need.2. If it's not working there should be an error message explaining what's occurring with his sound file. Otherwise, that problem sounds vague.
Error message is simply:Can't load ken.sndDoesn't state WHY it can't be loaded. The file is present and correct and properly referenced in the DEF-as I stated, it worked before the switch. Thus, you can see the annoyance. How can you fix it when you don't know what's wrong?Maybe switching to EX will solve both. Let's hope.EDIT: Upgrade done. Icelarn no longer forces a crash, but music does not play. Oh well. Ken's still non-functional.
