Which, by the way, could potentially cause cancer.

this is one of the most overused lines on the planet

lots of things could potentially cause cancer, the food we eat the air we breath etc etc etc it could go on forever.

  • Somebody PM when Caddie is no longer a mod.
Meh where do they get this number?

Two thirds of Americans don't even have insurance so how could they get it?

Also, I bet you live longer with cancer than you do if you don't use the radiation using equipment that says you are about to have an aneurysm.

My mom threw away our microwave because of radiation. --;

If that is true, then don't tell her to read the back of the Smoke Detector.

I'm going to agree with Shamrock on this one. I'd rather have the test done and possibly avoid a certain death, than avoid them for fears of a slight risk of excessive radiation exposure.

And 2/3 sounds like a nice figure that you can completely fabricate in an attempt to sound profound.

Let's see...
They tested the middle 60% age range of the country.
Even if 70% of those did indeed have these tests done, that still only covers some 40 odd percent of the population.
"At least double what you would find in nature"? Well I should hope so; if the radon in the soil gives me cancer, me and God are gonna need to have a long talk.

They didn't state the socio-economic status of the people tested.
So as Shamrock stated, a very large percent of the American population is not going to be able to afford to have these fancy tests done.
