Hi, guys from MFG, again!Today, I re-announce the project I'm working again. The Ultimate MUGEN Championship, and you already know that. For the original source in Mugen Infantry: http://forum.mugen-infantry.net/index.php?topic=139597.0Let me reintroduce the concept: Just like ScruffyDragon's DC vs. Marvel. UMC is divided in phases, the Phase One features 8 leagues comprised of 3 characters and 2 solo entries. Phase Two extends membership to 6 characters per league, and 8 more leagues were added, the 2 solo entries were aided by 6 more characters, making an additional league. And Phase Three... is Top Secret. The main preimise for the game is:"2000 years ago, a devastating force known as Dracket threatens reality using the Forbidden Black Flame in order to obtain the Galactic Triangle. But the 9 Legendary Flame protectors fought him in a powerful battle, only one survived the encounter, and that's me. I destroyed Dracket with my unique White Flame, and the Galactic Triangle is safe... until now. 2000 years later, Dracket is back from the dead and this time, I cannot give another option than creating a Fighting Tournament where the best of the best competes in order to destroy Dracket once more and recover the Galactic Triangle.... These are the words of Kung Fu Man."Status: - Green (Completed) - Yellow (In development) - Red (Pre-development)Phase One Confirmed characters:Street Fighter League - Ryu - Ken - Chun LiDarkstalkers League - Demitri - Morrigan - J . TalbinMortal Kombat League - Scorpion - Sub-Zero - Liu KangKiller Instinct League - B. Orchid - Jago - T. J. ComboKing of Fighters League - Kyo - Iori - AthenaWorld Heroes League - Hanzo (WH) - Fuuma - K. DragonRage of The Dragons League - Billy (ROTD) - Jimmy - PepePower Instinct League - Reiji - Keith - Annie (PI)Solo entries - Scaner by Lincoln Ferreira Torres - Dragon Claw by Reuben Kee (RIP)Confirmed Stages: - National Park - U.S.A. - Red Dessert - Egypt - Stonehenge - Englang - Death Roof - Canada - Sunset Lakes - Japan - Enchanted Forest - Australia - Blizzard's Mountains - North Pole - Brutal Bridge - Kenya - The Portal - Unknown Area - Dracket's Temple - Unknown AreaSpriters wanted to convert Non-CVS styled characters into the ones seen in CVS series. Li Kun's converted Morrigan sprites can be used as an example.Gameplay is a mix between Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe, The King of Fighters XIII and Super Street Fighter IV.Fatalities will be included.Material used from the following games: - Mortal Kombat Deception (Announcer) - The King of Fighters XI (Sound Effects) - Primal Rage (Blood Effects) - Capcom vs SNK 2 (Fight Effects)Screenshots:The Main Menu ScreenThe Character Selection ScreenThe Versus ScreenIn-Game ScreenThe Victory ScreenThe Game Over ScreenThe UMC Staff for now: - Dragon-Kid (Chief Director, Screenpack and Stage Maker and Coder-in-Training) - dampir (CVS Spriter) - lansman (Stage Rewiever) - MDD (Additional Palette Maker) - x Fly (Music Composer - pending confirmation) - Lost_Avenger (Official Critic)So, if you want to contribute my project about the material, just post me. And good luck!Regards:Dragon-KidUMC Chief DirectorP.S.: Can you catch Sheldon Cooper as an Easter Egg?
looks cool. But there's a lot of empty space in the select screen imo. Maybe make the small portraits bigger? Also, you should pick another color for the font in the victory screen. Something that pops up. It looks too similar to the background. All I could think of is using some tint or shade of green since it's complementary. (it would look fruity though ) Or you could make the box darker if you don't want to change the color.

LordSinistro said, August 01, 2012, 01:28:17 ammaybe you could had some dc or marvel char now im doing a killercroc maybe you can use it on your project if you want Hey, you're that LordSinistro who Mugenized the Primal Rage characters like Talon and Vertigo years ago?And talking about Killer Croc, consider making your thread about him?
Wait... When did I sign up for this again? Im really busy and I cant really give up any extra time(I barely have enough as is). Sorry.-Arent some of those styles 4 button and some 6? You can easily make mp versions of light/heavy attacks for most characters, but some look bad. Fx/announcer/sounds/etc would clash heavily. I cant view videos so I'll have to wait to see if the choas kind meshes together?-The roster is better small. Its easier to expand later than come up short trying to go big too quickly. I know nothing of MK/KI/etc, but the SF roster has numerous good bases to choose from(waru, Pots, Jman, etc). Try to take full advantage of this. It can make a 2 day character a 5-10 hour character to code.
Ryu's PalettesKen's PalettesMDD, these are the palettes I use for Ryu and Ken, can you make additional ones (up to 12)?
so do you want to had killercroc to the roster it be nice becaue i was tinking of putting im a fatallities

On the another hand, I must await for your approvation in the Batman Project they are making in CVG United.Lost_Avenger said, August 01, 2012, 05:42:51 amWait... When did I sign up for this again? I semi-understand japanese thanks to Super Sentai and Kamen Rider.
Zombie Sagat said, August 01, 2012, 10:40:45 pmseems like alot of work. do you have a team?Just check at the UMC Staff, Zombie Sagat. Recently I sended an invitation to x Fly to be a Music Composer.
For the ROTD and PIM chars, you don't need to bother converting them to CVS since they have similar shading to CVS style. They are shaded from above. However, you can create CVS palettes on them.By the way, would there be some bosses there?
