Well, I decided I would downlaod Terry and just convert him to DOS and run him there, but I have one big problem:

Neither of the sites will load for me :bigcry:



I checked an older update saw that the AI was possibly inconsistent with the player:
I saw a few "time >= 9" after var(40), which I assume would involve movecontact and the combo code (I can't remember  :-\), but I felt as though they should be left somewhere within the range of 5-6 ticks.

Then again, if this is possible:
I can come pretty damn close to a 100% combo with this Terry.
Then  :S... interesting.

Could you explain what moves you are using to get that near 100% combo.



Also KOD, I was wondering about 2 things. Did you fix the velocities for the Sliding Kick 'Exceed (... is that the right word??)'/Follow Up Contact Kick(s).
Also, I might update the AI (the CNS) so there aren't so many badly timed Roman Canceles triggered by the default AI (... forgot that the CNS backed up from what I originally changed AI-wise  :S)

There you go, really the only thing that stopped it from being a 100% combo was the juggle limit, which was apparently done well for some moves, but not for all. And I also noticed something weird whilst playing... air dash!? WTF!!! and LOL I made him dance at the beginning!! YES THAT IS TERRY DANCING!! :snobby:

That's Ex mode and its GGX stuff : air dash and roman cancel. You can remove it by editing the config file.

Rising Tackle is still hard to do. Power Dunk is easier now. But now it's a bit harder to do Buster Wolf. Just a bit.

Just a small question too. Is there a certain game speed that you made the commands for? Maybe that's why some people can't do the moves correctly. Because for me I play at Fast 2, and some moves don't register when I do them.

I don't even know if that's a logical question to ask because people can do all moves on any speed setting... :S maybe it's just me. And it probably is.

about raisin's taco, maybe it is not triggering on the early jump states, you muight want to add that condition to the chagne states triggers, i had a similar problem with kim and solved it like that.

Ah man, that was not what I had hoped for  :'(

I guess the main fix need to be to power down that Rising Force.

How is string comboing with Terry ??
How easily can you string basic attacks together... BTW anyone else is also free to answer that question as well. I need to know just for a few possible changes  ;D



I think the voice for the Rising Force comes out a bit too quickly, I don't know why, but it just sounds kind of irregular. I understand if it is inaccurate but, I dunno, maybe a bit of a change up could be made  :-\. Maybe have him use the"Huuuuhhh" voice during teh charge then, say the "Come On"as soon as the move itself starts ??

Stringing basics into specials is easy, you can even repeat the process. The main problem is that there's not enough lag time after Desperation moves.

I waned to know how string basic moves into basic moves went  ;D

Like:
Lp, Lp, Mp
cLp, cLk, cLp, cLk
cLk, cLk, cSk

LOL, I see you took out the slide kick variant  :wink3:

Anyway, the slide Kick Contact needs a vel change for the AI y vel. It should work teh same way for the player given the CLSNs. For me, I just think the y vel should go lower (like teh original edit) because the physics for the actual kick itself based in the speed of the anim, the anim itself, and where the Kick looks like it connects just seem like they would be more appropriate that way. Also the way the AI is coded, it is pretty much set up to miss any Hyper canceled from that attack with its current y vel.

I feel as though the y vels would look more appropriate as these:

ground.velocity = -3,-6.8
air.velocity = -3,-6.5


Also about the contact variant :bigcry:
I wanted you to tell me. Did you like how it looked at all or was it just iugly, not accurate, etc. I used it because it was healthier for teh AI and provided me with a bit more random... hjk loves random :wink2:
