I was thinking... the 5th char, if isn't a original char, could be Kevin from Street Fighter 2010? (not that I want) he fits, like, in all the hints and implications given until now:- Never was in a Street Fighter cast- Never was in a fighting game- Is very related with Street Fighter series (somehow, he's quite related)....besides the horrible game that he come from, he could be a nice addition.. something close of Captain Commando (in story and gameplay)... just would be weird justify that his "high-tec from hell" is 2010. XD XD XD.so, I'm waiting c:

Like a character from a canned game. Like D.D. I still hope.edit - or some robot shit.
I've wanted them to do something with D.D. and Rook since Ingrid made her first appearance outside of her cancelled game. Now I kinda want Roxy, just to see the saltiness. Recolor Poison and slap one of the SFxT characters' moves on her and call it a day? Hell yes. Lili's swap costume model is also an option for that route.
Info from the SDCC panelQuote>5th character isn't revealed>new trailer, with much more footage of the four new characters>Zangief's green hand is faster on regular, knockdown on EX>new character is not Strider or Asura>"you will be exceptionally hype when the announcement's made"

Still shouldn't have needed to be said. They already deconfirmed him when they said the new character hadn't been in a fighting game before. And let's face it, he's close to being more popular from Marvel vs Capcom than from his own games.
I'm starting to think that maybe the character is someone who can take other forms/can manipulate their body freely. Given that it could be a women "if we wanted it to be".Or maybe I'm just hoping it isn't Roxy too much.

Remember, Necro was the original in a line of prototypes, but they may have been some experiments before him. There could be more that were released in testing grounds or were let go to be put down.
