Using Helper As Hitspark in Exact HitPosition.

my problem is:
when i hit the opponent with light punch, the hitspark appears in his face. (im in the land and the opponent too.)
but, when i hit the opponent with light punch while he is in the air, the hitspark appears in his face instead in the feet. (im in the land and the opponent is in the air.)

Using a Helper as a hitspark, Is there a way to make your hitspark appear to the exact area where you hit the opponent?

help please.  :(
Thanks For Any Help!!!

Yes, instead of focusing the binding on your opponent, focus it on your character.

So if it is a light punch, bind the helper to the end of it's parent's hand, that way it will always appear correctly, in that sense.

Hitsparks work as follows through the sparkxy parameter of the hitdef

p2bodydist X. pos Y+-offset

The x axis is always calculated from player 2's front ground width. That's why using a negative value is further towards the center of them and positive is away from them. Y axis is always calculated based on your character's axis.

If you're using a helper, just use a posadd with X, and leave the Y off, Y can be wherever you created them at.
