How do I disable the analog stick so I could configure the Dpad for use with WinMugen?

http://xpadder.com/download.html  this program works perfectly  ;)
you can use it to map keyboard buttons to a 360 pad and when you are playing you really wont tell the difference, it will be like the game was made for it

i bought this.

AND IT WORKS PERFECTLY! you can enable analog and directional keys with a simple press of the MODE button.

also this controller was made for a computer sooo it can play any thing. Mugen, Emulators, actual PC games.

its perfect. and it only costs 20 dollars.

LOGITECH DUAL ACTION GAMEPAD/CONTROLLER.

the pad i showed you comes with a CD after the CD installs, it works like magic. i swear.

the only problem i have is getting used to the controls.. since i use medium punch for some people. but base my 1234 on low and highs. and triggers to med.

that wont matter, just set the d pad to different keys on the keyboard and then disable the joypad in mugen, then just set the keys as if you were playing with a keyboard

I'm using Xbox 360 Controller to the mugen and it works great with analog stick! Is nice to make combo and make moves like
hadouken, reppuken ecc.... but is more difficult to make moves like Guile's Sonic Boom, M.Bison's Psycho Crusher or Chun-Li's Spinning Bird Kick!

The simplest solution: Set the movement controls to the Dpad, not the analog stick. Seriously, so long as the controller's plugged in and you set up the controls for it, you don't need to do anything else.
Guess the origins of my avatar, and you are an official Awesome. The text below it is a hint. PM me your guess/answer.

for some reason it cant detect the 360 dpad, but with that program you can assign the dpad to keys on the keyboard & that solves it

This is why I often switch between my Hori Arcade Stick and Saturn Controller using the Adaptor. Though as far as the 360 D-Pad being absolutely horrible goes, I've used the controller to play Fatal Fury and DOA the 360 pad is not as bad as people say it is, atleast not to me.
