NOTES:

He's restricted to his regular Warzard movelist by default, but you can allow him to use moves from his second form in the Config.txt file. His AI is also less aggressive by default, but can potentially be as difficult at Shin Valdoll's with the appropriate settings. Releasing him at 1.00 since he's basically a patch of Shin Valdoll, and should be relatively bug-free.

Is it just me, or does the entire cast of Warzard seem like it could fit into the average Real Ghostbusters episode?

But anyway, nice release.  I appreciate how this is different from  Shin Valdoll, and the release seems glitch-free.

Now you can never unsee it.

Borrowing Anakaris' RJ anims is possible... will have to get permission from the author. I'ma try to give Valdoll his own anims too, once I figure out how to make an old wizard look cute.

Will try to add transparencies as a toggleable option. I'm a bit more inexperienced there, and so will need some time to tweak for the best eye-candy.

I can't say much about him honestly. Just he's really, really awesome! You made my week with this Doggie^^;

I do have one suggestion, though. Why not give him Shin Valdoll's version of Sol Soliton and the snake move so then let the person decide which one they want? I noticed Valdoll's is somewhat weaker so it would probably be cool.

I have to ask, though. Are you going to keep making Warzard stuff/who are you making next? ;D (hopes it's Ravange)

Edit:

Another suggestion would be to possibly convert Valdoll's palace stage. And give him his original intro sitting in the background with it. It isn't a big deal but it might be cool!

Found a glitch.

Sometimes when playing as Valdoll the dragons don't display properly in his intro. Like for example, the dragons will appear as black and blue, but then quickly change to red and blue. This doesn't seem to always happen, and it seems to be caused by the random dragon selection option being on.

Edit:

I'd like to also note as best as I can tell the dragons work properly otherwise. I've never seen them change element in the actual rounds, only display incorrectly at the intro. - Interestingly I think Shin Valdoll had this bug in his initial release too, so it should be easy to fix?

Anyways he (or is it they?!) run good like the second form version out.
Hoping that Kongou (Tanuma) is coming soon. That character looked crazy.

If you want a quick fix before the next version, you can find [State -2, Dragon 1 Element Selection] and [State -2, Dragon 2 Element Selection] and add a "triggerall = var(15)" to them.

About the alternate Soul Soliton and Forbidden Viper moves... would it be better for them to be included in the Extra Attacks setting, or have another setting on their own? Config.txt might be getting a bit convoluted.  :S

Yep, that should work.

...also, in case you want to enable it again, you might wanna find the line "State In-Game Dragon Selection];DO NOT EDIT LINE" in Config.txt and replace it with "[State In-Game Dragon Selection];DO NOT EDIT LINE". I missed a square bracket. Sloppiness ftl. --;

And yeah, I hope to at least do Ravange once this is cleared up and exams, etc. are over. After that, prolly Kongou and Gi Gi, if no-one's released them first.

I'd like to note the VAR thing didn't seem to fix that intro problem. It now just occurs with much less frequency.

Additionally I noticed he almost always has the red and blue dragons, and almost never has a mixture of the two sets. (maybe it was poor luck?)

missfairy: Hmm, the intro problem is a bit troubling. Might be worth giving the new v1.01 a try and see if it's still there. Will double-check to see if there's any leaks in the code.

The lack of randomness in the dragons might be due to the spottiness of MUGEN's random number generator (or so I heard)... though it does appear random with a large sample size, it seems to generate similar numbers in sequence more often than it should. Unless it's just in my head, which is quite possible.  ;P

Anywhoo, thanks for the comments and feedback! The new version also has a transparent FX setting, subject to future refinement. It'll be added to Shin Valdoll as well, once it's deemed satisfactory.

The intro thing seems to be fixed! :D

Loving that transparent FX setting. It looks much more flattering for Valdoll's barrier IMO ~ I love how it makes his robes sort of flicker and shimmer too.
Valdoll seems absolutely perfect now. I'd suggest going ahead making Ravange. - I really hope you do, he's the last really kickass Warzard boss that hasn't been made.^^

Found one new bug? Apparently Valdoll can't be opened in fighter factory anymore.

Every time I try it causes it to lock up and crash for some reason.   ???

I'd also like to note I tested Shin Valdoll and Blade and neither have this issue.

edit 2:

Ok, the problem is in Valdoll's AIR file. I've manually opened every other file in Fighter Factory and all worked. But the AIR file causes it to lock up and crash.  :-\

The new transparent anims were written by hand, so there's prolly some out-of-place detail that MUGEN is ok with but FF isn't. It doesn't seem to affect gameplay, and prolly isn't worth another full download, but I'll hold the fixed file in case anyone wants to use it.

Thanks for posting this on Mugen Infantry btw... completely forgot to announce it there. >_<

Ahh I know what you mean. =/ Luckily it's an easy enough thing to work around I think. ^^;
I would absolutely update Valdoll with the fixed file, though. Since for most people they'd probably think he was broken and not be able to make palletes for him and stuff. I know most don't think to open a character's SSF and palletes by themselves, so it would really suck for them D=

No problems, btw. I was happy to ;D

Hopefully you tell us what you're doing next ^^
