I'd like to note the VAR thing didn't seem to fix that intro problem. It now just occurs with much less frequency.

Additionally I noticed he almost always has the red and blue dragons, and almost never has a mixture of the two sets. (maybe it was poor luck?)

missfairy: Hmm, the intro problem is a bit troubling. Might be worth giving the new v1.01 a try and see if it's still there. Will double-check to see if there's any leaks in the code.

The lack of randomness in the dragons might be due to the spottiness of MUGEN's random number generator (or so I heard)... though it does appear random with a large sample size, it seems to generate similar numbers in sequence more often than it should. Unless it's just in my head, which is quite possible.  ;P

Anywhoo, thanks for the comments and feedback! The new version also has a transparent FX setting, subject to future refinement. It'll be added to Shin Valdoll as well, once it's deemed satisfactory.

The intro thing seems to be fixed! :D

Loving that transparent FX setting. It looks much more flattering for Valdoll's barrier IMO ~ I love how it makes his robes sort of flicker and shimmer too.
Valdoll seems absolutely perfect now. I'd suggest going ahead making Ravange. - I really hope you do, he's the last really kickass Warzard boss that hasn't been made.^^

Found one new bug? Apparently Valdoll can't be opened in fighter factory anymore.

Every time I try it causes it to lock up and crash for some reason.   ???

I'd also like to note I tested Shin Valdoll and Blade and neither have this issue.

edit 2:

Ok, the problem is in Valdoll's AIR file. I've manually opened every other file in Fighter Factory and all worked. But the AIR file causes it to lock up and crash.  :-\

The new transparent anims were written by hand, so there's prolly some out-of-place detail that MUGEN is ok with but FF isn't. It doesn't seem to affect gameplay, and prolly isn't worth another full download, but I'll hold the fixed file in case anyone wants to use it.

Thanks for posting this on Mugen Infantry btw... completely forgot to announce it there. >_<

Ahh I know what you mean. =/ Luckily it's an easy enough thing to work around I think. ^^;
I would absolutely update Valdoll with the fixed file, though. Since for most people they'd probably think he was broken and not be able to make palletes for him and stuff. I know most don't think to open a character's SSF and palletes by themselves, so it would really suck for them D=

No problems, btw. I was happy to ;D

Hopefully you tell us what you're doing next ^^
