"The forum" is the request section in the case we're talking about and those spamming the forum, we see them. As the topic this news points to shows, we're trying to figure out who's spamming other people's mail/PM box... Check that topic if you haven't, you'll get what we're talking about easily. So BJ's point is perfectly valid.

While you are at it, the buttons suffer the same problem, but there isn't much I can do about that anymore.
I was wondering why mods couldn't see other members' IP address, as opposed to what it says when I click on it : QuoteYour IP address is shown only to you and moderators. because well, last time I checked, I was a moderator.
Only "trusted" members have access to IP addresses (these aren't the same members that are trusted to make SF3 characters ).

Rules (announcement) until they read them ? (using the "new" button displayed or not, I have absolutely no if this would be possible though) Announcement would then require a direct link to each section's rule then (... dunno if it's already the case, I actually never read them I just moderate myself )Need improvement anyway, I guess, but I'd say it's somewhere we could dig a bit IMO...Also this level would of course only be given when the member clearly broke a rule (such as, but not limited to as BJ says, Request or Release)
Unless they don't know, and they would at least have to do it. Plus it would really be dumb from them to ignore it if they're forced to click on it, considering they would have already been warned because of that (and that they receive a PM with a big, red, bold, "READ THE FUCKING RULES, thank you").Plus, they could be "marked" with that RTFR tag and if they do it again, it's a mute or something... As I said, needs discussion-improvement ... Here I am again, assuming that people aren't actually stupid. Blah.
At least muted members should have every forum but the junk and the announcements hidden.//edit: you need to make that when someone reply inside a child board, the jewel of the motherboard (on the main menu) tells you there are new replies.//edit2: That, or a little jewel under the main jewel for boards that have child boards.
Wouldn't work: to register here, they already have to read rules... and most of them don't. //edit1: "Converting To WinMugen" topic in the help section:Quote.:Fonts Bug:.If certain fonts are not showing that previously worked in Dos Mugen then; You can fix the fonts by editing them in a text editor and changing the colors = value to 256. This is normally found towards the end of the file after some distorted symbols which are the graphical part of the font.If done in a regular text editor such as WordPad or Notepad you'll end up with a file screwed up, most probably.//edit2:Quote.:Random Stage Bug:.WinMugen will crash upon continuing if your select.def entries look like this:kfm, random, order=3instead of this:kfm, stages/my_bg.def, order=3However, if you want that character to appear on a random stage, there is a work-around. To do this, you must take a stage def that you would like to always continue on, and place it in the main folder (where the WinMugen.exe is) and rename it to random without a file extension. So instead of the file reading like this, random.def it will just say random. Please note that to see and delete the file extension, you must have the hide extensions of known file types box unchecked. To do this, go to start>control panel>folder options and on the view tab uncheck the hide extensions of known file types box. Also, you will only continue on that stage if you lose a match. However, after winning that match, the stages will be random again.Note that this bug will also happen if no stage has been chosen in select.def for a character you want to continue with.Plus, I don't believe it's necessary to put the "random" stage in the directory of Mugen (though I could be wrong on this one).//edit3: Database error, yada yada, report to a moderator if yada yada... so here it is.//edit4: Any plan to move from the RC1.0 of SMF to higher (and more stable) release(s)?//edit5: Look at reply #14 and #15, here: http://www.mugenguild.com/forumx/index.php?topic=24415.msg228268#msg228268Same timestamp, and I've only posted once; the 2nd reply appeared when the other guy replied.Any plan for a return of the skin feature in the profiles? //edit6: in this topic: http://www.mugenguild.com/forumx/index.php?topic=24504.0 I had to hit reply, then post, because the quick-reply box wasn't working: "you have already submitted this post" (even if that wasn't the case).//edit7: It happened again when trying to "modify" a post in another topic.
