Idea for warned members: in addition to the fact that they can't see* the request forum, all their posts there could be hidden to regular members.

*question: could they access it, for example if they know the link?

//edit: "No messages..." <-- if there's no message, why is there a "s"? :P

The posts would still count?
Only the warned members can see warned member's messages?
It seems pretty useless IMO

EDIT:It would be better if they couldn't see the junk forum. That way, they can't flame Byakko (or any other Mod) :P [/not serious]
Sporting a new look.

No, only any member having a rank (starting from contributor) could see these posts, but not the other members (preventing the warned ones to get their requests fulfilled until their warning expires).

hacking for dummies, how to access a site you're not supposed to see:
find out the link and it should all work.
of course not :P

Here's the topic I was referring to:

Another idea would be to make the whole forum (excepted the request boards) hidden for leechers.

//edit: do the fact that someone has been releasing stolen stuff prevent us to answer his questions about coding (we could learn him to correct his behaviour while providing him with useful coding tips IMO)?

Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty

//edit2: I suggest to remove the redundant "babyface" icon from the mini profiles, since it loads the same big profile as when clicking on the name of a user.

I'd say no, it doesn't.

Many times, when I click on "post" after having typed my text in the "quick-reply" box, I get the "message already submitted error".

And when I try to refresh or get back to the previous page of my browser... the text has disappeared and I have to type it again. :(

It wasn't happening until a few days.

Note: check the errorlog for User=BlackJack. ;)

//edit: If I go from page 10 to page 9 on this topic: http://www.mugenguild.com/forumx/index.php?topic=20917.135 there's no way I can get back to page 10 again (read: no more "10" link).

//edit2: and I haven't typed the text up there twice. WTF?
But I did get a "session time out" thrice when trying to edit this post. :muh:

//edit3: Something has really gone wrong with the forum: sometimes the last posts on a topic appear, sometimes not. Hitting refresh sometimes work, sometimes not. And there's more. :muh:

Change your browser.  Opera will save all information typed in forms until the session has ended I believe. :sugoi:

Already have Opera (but didn't use it at that time :( ); anyway, after a double-log out, it looks like it works.

Wait, so, KFM hates this place enough to make a financial donation to it?  ???
Still quite busy.

(Yes, I intend to deal with that stuff eventually, but kinda can't just yet, sorry. :/ )
