Lately, my computer has been crashing suddenly, I think a virus is to blame for all this. (or lack of memory)I am unable to start up my computer and run a virus scan with out it freezing.Should I run virus scan in safe mode or something?
It's most likely never a virus. (depending on user, but since I don't know you, lets say it is could be a virus)That is what the media wants you to believe.Find out what is starting when you run your PC, probably an application of some sort is causing high CPU usage.Post us your PC specs and stuff, maybe a hijack log...

I ran a virus scan and deleted all the viruses...I fixed the freezing problem by changing the desktop wall paper...but!Now I got a new problem!I can't go on the internet without it telling me that I have a virus in my computer!It tries to auto instal somekind of virus scaner...I'm not sure if the anti virus is actully a virus, but when I scan my computer, I can't find a virus.Whats wrong?P.S. Scaning with a higher secerity level now...I found anouther thing but my comp. crashed before it could find anything else...Well... I think it crashed, I was sleeping at the time.EDIT: Virus is gone!
