This has to be done. Many people change their volume settings in MUGEN to their taste and environment. MUGEN developers adjust volume of their characters based on how loud it sounds on their settings. That's why it's not rare for different characters to have different sound levels.

This topic can help to solve this issue to some extent and give some developers answers. For anyone concerned about how future characters will sound, please look up in your MUGEN settings and post your volume settings here. The average value will be re-calculated and posted in the first post. Yoroshiku tanomu.

Average Master Volume = 255
Average Wav Volume = 15

WavVolume = 25


Master volume depends, really. Some days I want it louder some days I want it lower.

To make things clear: what is really important here? Master volume, or wav volume, or MP3 volume? o_O Maybe all of this?

I have mine set at 10 right now.

If i raise it, the volume of my speakers is bumped up for whatever i have playing in the BG and everything becomes much louder. Eg, winamp is on 15%, with mugen at 10, it seems to stay 15%, mugen at 20 seems to = 30%, bloody annoying.

My Mugen is just really fucking loud be default. Every time I play it, I have to turn the volume to almost muted to keep Mugen from destroying my eardrums.
