Bad and Good news.

Bad one:

Beximus will not release Devilotte. And probably she will don't come to open mugen unless Li-Kun gave me his permission to work on his version.

If not, sadly I won't put Devilotte on the list of works, and probably this will affects on secret character I was working.

Good:

Gknux are working on new updates for Sagat and other chars :)

Hey, Shin. There's a news that you might want to hear:
I'm correcting Hsien-Ko's palette such as small portrait and Hyper portrait problems that was supposed to be fixed, but all are messed up. But i'm actually fixing it now. I will send you through PM when i get done with her portrait palette problems.

Keeping on topic:
It was unexpected to hear that, cause frankly, i have suspected the entire time that Devilotte surely won't be coming in your project at this point on.
Next, about Sagat: He must have rival intro against Adon. He really need some update ASAP, but overall, i like it. Awaiting for updates, Shin. :)

About Devilotte, is not sure, but if Li-Kun gave permission to make a open version, will be nice for everyone. I will put my SOUL and BLOOD to make a good enough version[But different of Bex one, since probably will be impossible to make a similar] for community.

I hope Li-Kun can gave me permission. I have plans to make two new hypers using the Super-8 [Not the same from the Beximus one. "Nuclear Rampage" and "Circular Laser"]


EDIT: About a nice char going private to fullgame and probably[I hope the ''probably'' word can make me wrong] will never comes to open mugen makes me furious enough to continue my works with a new level who not even I know I can reach. [It's not Beximus or Li-Kun fault, I understand his plans and I hope then reaches his goals, honestly]

That's WHY this project exists. To make everyone has a chance to play with favorite characters with a at least GOOD old VS Style gameplays.

Only time will say.

I asked to Li-Kun to gave permission, and he oriented me to ask permission to Beximus.

Even if only her sprites are avaliable and the super 8 attacks are not present, I can make something nice to her[That's because I choosed two new hypers to her, exclusive to open mugen]

Well... I hope Beximus considers the request. Devilotte is a char who everyone wanted much for YEARS.

The fact is: Beximus will not release HIS Devilotte.

Well, it's official.

Devilotte will not come to Open Mugen. Beximus don't give permission.

With this news, I sadly inform the Secret Character who I'm planned to make was scrapped, since I wanted to make her exclusively to give a rivality with Devilotte.

I sadly reveal also who are the character.

It was NU-13 from Blazblue.


It's sad but the only devilotte we will play on our MUGEN is the Mazemerald one[Who is horribly incomplete and creepy].

Very bad news, but I just only want to hope Devilotte plays well on Capcom Universe. And probably no one will sprite her without commission, so...

.. Let's continue the works.

Yeah... This looks like a baby drawing, a child shit and anything... And i'm insatisfacted, but this same insatisfation brings me more energy to continue. I will not ask for help, but If someone wants to contribute with this absolutely new project, alongside with Linn from AvsP, I will be eternally grateful. I'm not have money to pay commissions[I'm have a family to care about], but in this case I will put all of my power, inspiration, rage, frustrations and happiness in this project. Absolutely yes. Shade, Linn and Matoi Ryuuko.

I will not stop with my progress on normal characters also. Will be a heavy work. But this is for all of you guys, who supported me for that long time. It's for everyone absolutely.

It's true what he said. I already blame Mazemerald for making a crappy Devilote and it's all his fault. If he hadn't make that, none of this would have happened. I was hoping for Devilote as well. Worst News Ever!

Ahhhhh... Finally, Haggar is confirmed now, but it will be good while you're working on him slowly.
As for the Superman... Well, i can't say much about it. XP

sorry to hear that about devilotte i think beximus want to keep it private for his fullgame
anyways im glad you are working on haggar i like sean altly sprite and i think they are the best haggar sprite but since you are going for a more mvc style gamplay i think acey haggar ( with some edit) would work

You're correct, Hunter. It is Acey's version of Haggar, because i like that version very much. I asked Acey for Shin if he can edit his Haggar , and he said yes. Remember, he will be coming slowly, but he will be bombastically awesome.

If someone else released sprites of Devilotte, would you make her? I think Devilotte was to appear in Nestor's game too, and I think he would give you the sprites.
