i love how Guild is treated as the central fucking hub for EVERYTHING mugen...if guild does it, it applies to EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE...

it may be the most widely used English Guild forum, but it's NOT the only mugen forum out there...and it shouldn't be seen as THE mugen forum that determines shit for EVERYONE, IMO...

As I said before, I liked the change (most of it, anyway). All these pride games are pissing me off. Some standards  should have been kept, though, but that pride really needs to be kicked down a notch or five.

Damn all of this is a shock...I finally get used to the place and then whiz bang boom everything is crazy.  I feel like some hidden revolution happened while I was asleep and then I woke up and realized my country is now made up of 47 different countries.  I am for some of the changes.  Open source always seemed like a good idea to me.  If someone writes code that works why should you wrack your brains trying to find a whole new way just because the code that works is in a character whose creator skipped town.  To take an example from basic C++ you don't see every generation of programmers rewriting cout or the header files.  I like this a lot.  You find something it works you say thank you tip your hat and go on your merry way.  I think this will really help new creators get a boost.  They won't be afraid cuz they can just reference everything. Although the negative to this is twofold.  One...there will be a lot of shitty creations that are just sprite swaps or jumbled up code frankensteins.  Two...there will be a lot more questions like hey I copied this code from such and such and it doesn't work please help.

Damn I am wordy tonight...all this is just my er well 2 cents seems too little...all this is just my 1 million dollars.

DGJ has been around for a VERY long time. Before Ash, before warehouses were even a word in mugen.

The people that decided to do this have been around for a LONG time!
