But the problem is, Spider-Man is just one hero — and his supporting cast, although rich and complex, is clearly a supporting cast.
Aww come now, they can do a movie on Ben Reilly and the clones arc, a movie on Spider-Woman, a Spiderman Noir just like the game a couple of years back, a Spiderman 2099, a Venom, a Flash-Venom special agent from the current series, a Carnage, a Scarlet Spider movie on Kaine, one for Miles Morales, and like 50 other movies with a spider as the title character.
Yeah. That'll work. They totally can be all very different.

A boomerang and shocker buddy villain movie would be cool, but not by them!

As they said, the chronology would be like this:
Amazing Spider-Man 2 - 2014
Sinister Six / Venom - 2015
Amazing Spider-Man 3 - 2016

If they want to make a franchise with the same lineal universe, I can suggest Black Cat, Carnage and Ben Reilly (Clone Saga movie??) to be made as part of Sony's SM movies

Also, they spoil us part of the ASM2 movie: if a Sinister Six movie would be done, that's mean Rhino and Electro will survive for that movie (known members of the group) making a link to ASM series and S6

Eventually Disney is going to get tired of competing with superhero movies by Sony using the characters that they own the rights too, and will bite the bullet and buy out the rights for billions of dollars, right? Please? I can't take any more of this stupid shitty Spider-Man reboot.

fuck Spidey I wish they'd buy back X-men.

This sounds interesting a Little, I love ben but  seeing him in a clone saga movie (that whole debacle was horrible) would make me think of The Matrix sequels good idea, horrible execution and everything becomes confusing as hell. A venom movie that spurns out of a Spidey movie would be fine I guess if they went the latest venom route.

Spider-Woman was never really a spidey character, Although they've been forcing her into it.

fuck Spidey and X-Men I wish they'd buy back Fantastic Four

Spider-Man has enough history, characters, and personality to sustain it's own franchise (not yearly, though, that's for sure). I didn't have as big a problem with the reboot as some people, I just wish these villains had some time to breathe. Not every superhero franchise needs an Avengers!

Honestly, I think Fantastic Four is the most important property that Marvel is missing that would negatively impact their abilities to tell various stories in their movies. And a great deal of that is Galactus!

The X-Men have always been off in their little corner and so I can't say I'm that bothered by them being unable to appear in the MCU (sure, being unable to use mutants sucks, but I don't think it's the end of the world). They lend themselves well to a franchise and thus Fox has it easy. Sony has to squeeze blood from a stone with Spider-Man, and the way they're trying to approach it sounds absolutely dreadful.

But Wolverine, man ! He should be making an appearance in every single Marvel movie, if they really wanted to be true to the comics.

They'll soon kill the Fantastic Four with another awful reboot so I'm happy. That will mean another F4 hiatus after the movie bombs as expected :))

(Not that you can do anything good with them, they're a boring team to begin with)
pls

  • Fuck You.
on the contrary f4 are pretty dope in the comics and the johnny storm/peter parker dynamic (which well never get to see in the movies cuz fuck you) is one of the best and funny as hell with their rivalry

fun fact; spidey tried out for the fantastic four but was rejected because it's called the fantastic 4, not the fucking fantastic five you fucking idiot get out of here you stupidhead *ahem*, but was the first on their list for a replacement when johnny died, thus his spot in the fantastic 4 that one time you probably don't remember or vaguely remember from that fantastic 4 outfit in that one spiderman game you thought was just some kind of easter egg

anyway the point is if done right f4 could be a good movie but it probably won't because it isn't being handled by the bad boys of the marvel license, disney

also are spiderman and f4 owned by the same company, just wondering too lazy and sleepy to google it cuz they could work that dynamic in and with black johnny storm they could kill two birds with one stone with a young salt and pepper duo and maybe some (a) spinoff(s) who the hell knows

on to the main topic, this sounds like a fucking terrible idea, yea

Now, there's been some talk about Gwen dying in ASM2, what do you think? I think she's going to die, GG is there, and there are some scenes in the trailers which kinda hint to her death.
What I think is for sure is the Sinister Six, there's Electro, and in the trailer we see Vulture's wings and Doc Oc's tentacles.
Thanks Watta for the sig and avi.
