Have you seen the Rhino ? Yeah, that's not what they're trying to do. "The famous Electro" wouldn't work in a movie.

I read it as "they should use the Electro that gamers know (i.e. the classic one) so that they'll gain views from gamers. This one is not known by gamers so gamers won't watch it."
... Which doesn't make a lot more sense because who cares about getting views from gamers.

A mask is just too much to ask for in comic book films isn't it..

I don't know much about the Goblin, but I thought his face was a transformation and that's why the helmet was disliked in the first Maguire movie ?

Nah, it's always been a mask. The use of a solid one and the solid green armor he had in the first Raimi movie were among the reasons it was disliked, but good lord that was miles better than this.

and if Raimi had his way, we would've seen this in the first movie. God, it hurts to look at this and imagine Willem Dafoe acting in it. It would've been so good!

Oh man, I just hope at least Dane DeHan's performance is good, and that Zoid-Rhino doesn't have much screen time
Thanks Watta for the sig and avi.

Ultimate Electro doesn't look like a blue fishman, though. Or jellyfish, I guess, if that's what they're going with (animal derived powers and whatnot).
Indeed yes, in some stories (and in Ultimate Spider-Man animated series), he appeared as a blue guy by electricity, as seen here and here

Oh, and before you think about it, same goes for Ultimate Rhino (or R.H.I.N.O. as he called in this series).

Also, I don't like Green Goblin's look... unless that would be a mask instead an Osborne on meth

That's more of an aura, he's not actually mutated and doesn't have gills or whatever else Jamie Foxx's Electro has. (at least I don't recall Ultimate Electro being that mutated?)
