I... might have posted in here already about this but fuck it

Infamous: Second Son

Loving it. While the actual things to do in the game are seeming kind of repetitive, the draw distance and lighting drastically improves the open-world experience, Seattle is one of the better open world cities I've played in (it's no Arkham City but it's probably better than everything else), and the improvements to the powers and controls make it fun enough to play that I don't much care about the lack of variety.

Worth the purchase of the PS4 and making me really excited for the future of the system. Though I'm probably not buying any other games until March or so.

Pokemon Platinum

Because I can play this on the go. Nuzlocke run because that is the only way I play Pokemon these days. Platinum because I'm making my way through all the games I have access to on an actual system instead of emulating them. Currently rocking Grotle, Gabite, Kadabra, Houndour, Floatzel, and Crobat, and grinding for the 4th gym.

Played through both Disgaea 3 and 4 last week and now I play the first Disgaea again after many years and use the ps2 emulator for that. Man did the series change in some fields while its the same in others. Plan to go through all the post-game stuff for the first time in Disgaea and meet Baal finally :-)

In the lab, practicing for 98UM. Yeah some things will be different and whatever but it's about getting the general feel again.

South Park Stick Of Truth:

Wow, this game's super fun. Story's incredibly ridiculous and the customization is pretty fun. I usually dislike RPG's but i got addicted to this pretty fast, lol. I get stuck often not knowing what ability to use to progress often though, it reminds me how I used to get stuck in the lego games because it's usually something pretty simple and right in front of your face.

Demon's Souls

Since Dead Island: Riptide's ending left a bad taste in my mouth, I needed to wash it off with something awesome. I've had this game for a long time now, but I never really got to play ti because I have a ton of unplayed videogames that I prioritized more. I just finished off the Phalanx boss, and I only have one thing to say ...

THIS GAME IS SO GOOD.

In FromSoftware, we trust.

Super Smash Bros for 3DS
-------------------------------
Working on the last page of challenges makes me realize that I'm like angry with all the playable characters. There's too many of them and stuff.

I'm also under the impression that people keep neglecting data from the game, do you guys know how PotS made his original characters? He actually studied every single game he referenced, down to the core. Doing this properly requires understanding how the original system was made, not just winging it.

Dota 2

Holy shit this game nearly put me to sleep. The art style is wanky, the colors are all dark and murky, and I can't even get a stable framerate half the damn time.

The character select screen is pretty shoddy, too.

Real Bout: Fatal Fury Special - DOMINATED MIND (PS3, PSone Classics ver.)
It was on sale on japanese PSN, so I decided to get it with remaining funds.
This shit is way too fucking fun. Hard to notice the missing frames and the only real con I can give if the audio quality for the sound effects. But this is easily SNK's best PSX port... if you can even call it that. The inclusion of Final Impacts is awesome and gives the game a faster pace yet encourages players to be more careful with their health and meter management since they can get easily 80%'d off a (not that) simple FI combo.
Playable rebalanced Alfred is also a huge, fun bonus. I feel that if it had better quality sounds, Rick, Xiang and the EX characters that were removed, it'd be the coolest fucking game.

why isn't there a new RB ;~;

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call
Didn't play the previous one, but I assume this is more of the same (more songs, more characters, etc.). I'm completely addicted to the game and I'm having fun with equips and summons. I wonder why an Android port hasn't seen the light of the day yet :(

GTA: San Andreas

What with its re-release for about $4 on the 360 for its anniversary and having long since lost my original PS2 copy, though it'd be fun to re-visit.  Never bothered with the story for this one beyond the opening anyways.  Having a mass melee fight without any targeting, people running in circles waving arms and swinging bats at no one in particular is fun.

Also, the cars do handle better here than Watch Dogs.  Which is crazy.

NP: Project Spark
I haven't actually took the time to play it but the release of F.T (P.T Parody) caught my attention. So far of what i seen it's pretty close to the P.T demo and they do have the infinite loop lol.

Well it wasn't very interesting to me 10 years ago as compared to passing the controller between friends to see who can last the longest holding a last stand at the respawn hospital or messing with the trains.  A story of gang violence doesn't exactly capture my interest anyways.

Though what I've gone through now and somewhat remember, it seems pretty....lackluster?  It's missing a reason to care for any of these characters so far I guess.  But I've just been doing the side missions before the main, so that could be why.

Also inconvenient is that every main story cutscene cuts out the audio soon after it begins.  Dunno if that's an Xbox orignal port issue left unresolved, Games on Demand port issue unresolved, or a new one that's from their updates to it for its re-release.

I bought the game as well when they re-released it and i have also seen that issue when the volume cuts the dialogue when i was reading the subtitle the characters didn't say some of the words.
The game has also completely froze my Xbox 360. I don't know if those issues were in the original Xbox 360 version of the game but i don't care to much the game is like $3.75 in the marketplace.

Boktai: The Sun is in your Hand

A fun konami GBA game that my buddies got me into during high school, so I'm playing it again. Really difficult to get a rank S in all the dungeon areas without getting caught/using continues/taking too long.  I'm gotten through a good chunk of the game and I'm enjoying it so far.

Was walking around town yesterday and decided to go check out this pawn shop close to where I live. Ended up buying LA Noire (again) and Oblivion (Goty Edition) both for about 18.99. They had some nice games all 19.99 and under. Saw GTAV with the book/map and disc in decent condition for 12.99. Don't know why people buy used controllers though, they had some really shitty controllers.

I've only played Oblivion once on Xbox a long time ago, so it'll be new for me going through it, but everyone's recommended it.

First I started playing LA Noire again. I forgot how hard it was sometimes to tell if the suspect is lying or not, lol. Game's really fun though, I forgot how fun it was looking for clues and interviewing suspects. I seem to recall the game being kind of short, though. So far I've gotten all the question/clues found and I just made it to the traffic division.

I'm hoping I'll like Oblivion and it has tons of play time like Skyrim does.
