Ok, still playing San Andreas.  It's gotten interesting since leaving Caesar's sister.  Guess I should have just stuck with it longer back then.  Oh well.  Woozie's a fun guy.

Cutscenes with no audio's killing me though.  Add on no checkpoints when starting missions or even ones nearby and restarting missions defaults to no, and I've gotten stuck redriving the same roads over and over to get to missions to drive the same roads over and over.  Ugh.  And flying planes a pain, though I've heard it's worse in V.  Didn't really touch it in IV, and I usually flew tanks in here before with cheats.

I've only played Oblivion once on Xbox a long time ago, so it'll be new for me going through it, but everyone's recommended it.
I recommend waiting until you've completed the main questline or are high level before touching the Shivering Isles.  While it's still personally the best add-on to any game ever made, I believe it's level adjusted to your level when you're there, but the rewards don't level with you as I recall.  Got an awesome element shifting sword that never loses its charge at like level 5 or something and lost its use before I even got to the second Oblivion gate.

Knights of the Nine you can do whenever, its rewards weren't all that special, and the questline itself wasn't either.

First I started playing LA Noire again. I forgot how hard it was sometimes to tell if the suspect is lying or not, lol. Game's really fun though, I forgot how fun it was looking for clues and interviewing suspects. I seem to recall the game being kind of short, though. So far I've gotten all the question/clues found and I just made it to the traffic division.
@GLB: Yeah, the game is hard! :P

Also, about it being "short", since the game is episodic I like to think of it as a TV show (well, that and the TV talents all throughout the plot :P) so it's a good, like, 2 seasons. Long enough for me :sweatdrop:

Thanks for the tip! I just put it in yesterday for the first time and I was so confused. It'll definitely take some getting used to, I'm not big on first person camera movements either. Only game I own that has it is Dead Island: Riptide and that game's been collecting dust since its purchase.

Yeah, the game is hard! :P

That's a good way of looking at it! But I was definitely wrong, the main story does go by kind of quickly but i forgot about all the side missions and collectible cars.   ._.

I'm very surprised that I made it as far as I did without getting any wrong answers though. I've found all the clues as well. I'm on the very last case in homicide, the suspects get even harder to interview by this point it seems like. The Quarter Moon Murders case is pretty fun though, just got done running around the tarpits.

Yeah, some of the side missions are actually kind of cool, like pursuits. Some of them involve previously encountered characters, which gives them depth (as re-offender perps!). I really enjoy sometimes just driving around that 40's L.A. just because the music relaxes me :P

It's a better game than I originally anticipated. This + RDR made me a Rockstar believer, and now the next games on my queue are GTAV and Max Payne :beam:

Pokemon Light Platinum

So me and my best friend started playing Pokemon Emerald on our gba emulator app in each of our phones. So he plays until he gets to elite four and starts downloading all these random ROM hacks without realizing that they're actually fakes. He shows me this one called Pokemon Light Platinum, and by God, this is fun as hell. Whoever edited this ROM put a lot of work into it. You can actually catch a multitude of pokemon from Gen IV and V in this GBA game. It's crazy, theres so much crap on this little thing. The only 2 problems I'm having is that the story and overall concept needs a lot more polishing, and that there's waaaaay too much grinding even for a pokemon game.

You also get a bunch of free rare pokemon if you talk to the right people in the game :)

Streets of Rage (Genesis)

Going to attempt an entire run-through without losing a life.

Damn!! Good luck with that.

I've been catching up with Tekken Tag 2. I forgot how much I really love Tekken even though I don't really like the bound system. I've concluded that I just have to adjust and learn those combos that usually lead to my demise.

I'll also be getting to Advanced Warfare later on since I'm finally purchasing a One later today!! :yippi:
All of your Mugen Portrait needs may be found HERE.

I'd like to report two robots on the MFG forums: One is EXShadow. The other is Saikoro.
There should be a Saikoro plugin for Photoshop.

It has a 'bomb' move that hits every enemy on the screen.

Fortunately the AI is pretty easy to exploit. Playing on normal helps (although I only recently found out there was difficulty after all this time).

I wish I could say the same for the music! Lol. Not my cup of tea that's for sure. But yeah I enjoy the side missions. Only issue I seem to have is bringing in perps alive, lol. I don't think I've ever caught a perp on a side mission, and whenever they're holding a hostage I attempt to shoot the gun out of their hand but they just back up stunned for a moment, then kill the hostage. So I've just been doing headshots, lol.

GTAV is so very worth it, you should check it out! What really got me into Rockstar was GTAIII/VC/SA, I kept up with the series for a while, kind of fell off after SA a bit but picked up again later. I also really enjoyed Bully for its fantastic soundtrack and fun gameplay. Also a huge fan of The Warriors, but that might also be because of the movie being my favorite movie of all time.

They got me at the very first lines Michael said at the Shrink's Office. I just thought to myself "This is quality writing, I'm officially on board" :gugoi:

I just picked up The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth today, been loving every minute of it.

If you've never heard of it, it's basically a rouge-like LoZ with a shit-ton of items that synergize.

The fact that you are elaborating on a 4-word review of a game tells me maybe it's not the joke the one not being clever...

Read: of course that's a pun.
