Pokemon Light Platinum

So me and my best friend started playing Pokemon Emerald on our gba emulator app in each of our phones. So he plays until he gets to elite four and starts downloading all these random ROM hacks without realizing that they're actually fakes. He shows me this one called Pokemon Light Platinum, and by God, this is fun as hell. Whoever edited this ROM put a lot of work into it. You can actually catch a multitude of pokemon from Gen IV and V in this GBA game. It's crazy, theres so much crap on this little thing. The only 2 problems I'm having is that the story and overall concept needs a lot more polishing, and that there's waaaaay too much grinding even for a pokemon game.

You also get a bunch of free rare pokemon if you talk to the right people in the game :)

Hello, I translated that from Portuguese to English. You're quite welcome.

  • I bite the faces of people who don't wanna be cool

I'm also under the impression that people keep neglecting data from the game, do you guys know how PotS made his original characters? He actually studied every single game he referenced, down to the core. Doing this properly requires understanding how the original system was made, not just winging it.

Got it on steam when it was cheap, finally decided to play it. A lot of people didn't like the new direction/revamp of the series, but this is actually a really good game IMO. Very fun to play.

Armored Core: Verdict Day

Okay, so I gave the game another chance, and I must say that I was too biased before due to the fact that I played this after finishing Armored Core: For Answer, which is the best AC game in the whole series, in my opinion.

I assembled an energy conservative, mid-weight biped with H.E.A.T. weaponry, but suggestions are appreciated!

Aerial combat was completely dumbed down in this game, but at the same time, a new game mechanic was added to expand the mobility options in the game, which I will call "building jousting", due to the player requiring to use buildings to hop around from one point to another and use the strategic points to strike the enemy. It's pretty fun, and requires a lot of strategy, so that you'll have both a hiding spot, and a tunnel path where you can progress from that point onto another.

The game certainly became more cinematic, which is a big plus for me. The frame rate and the motion blurring in the cinematic are great, and makes the game give out a sweet next-gen feel.

Story pacing is certainly slower compared to For Answer, but that isn't a bad thing, since it aids character development.

Another game play addition is the autonomous assist Armored Cores, which become a part of your team to aid you. I use them a lot since I'm finishing the story on my own, and without a human team to aid me, since the game's region locked. Spoiler alert, though, since they'll become evil out of nowhere in one part of the story because they'll get infected by a virus, or got hacked, or something. I don't know yet since I haven't progressed enough.

Seeing the wreckage of Spirit of Motherwill sends chills down my spine. I wish I'll get to fight it again, but using the Verdict Day game play instead.

I'm having a hard time finishing the level 8 difficulty mission wherein one of the Reapers ambush me, and once defeated, another Reaper with a tank type AC and automated ACs fight me. I keep on running out of ammo, and my assist AC is pretty much worthless. I guess more grinding is required.

Sorry for the long wall of text.

Megami Ibunroku Persona PSP
Playing the SEBEC route as I don't hate myself enough to start the Snow Queen route

This game is really hard.Like random encounters will wipe you the fuck out,and there is a lot of fuckin random encounters.
If you run into a group of Succubus and can't run away or kill em fast they will charm your entire party and you'll end up killing yourself

Status ailments are that bloody dangerous in this game, and there is a lot of status ailments(Leveled Down,Unlucky,Happy,Charmed,Sick,Poisoned,Paralysed,Stoned,Sleeping,Frozen,Confused,Scared etc. etc.)
Buffs don't seem to do jack shit and this is probably the first Shin Megami Tensei game in which buffs aren't really effing broken.

I'm at the Black Market part, and the bosses so far were all monsters that do meh damage but have a shit ton of health.
The difference in levels for Personas in this game is really damn big so have fun trynna find a better one for your squad.
Some dungeons in this game are just pure mindfuck of mazes that you can't really walk through as every 6 steps you take you walk into a random encounter.

When it comes to fusion,Persona 1s favorite thing are fusion accidents, which can either buff up your Persona, buff it down a lot or just turn into a Persona that you would not be able to obtain normally.
Some Personas are just pure useless waste of Spell Cards (Lilim being nothing else that a status ailment caster which probably would not be too bad if she wouldn't waste all your mana) while some are really useful(Airgetlam being a cool rock/physical persona)

There is also a shitton of attack types in this game(Force,Allmighty,Blast,Gravity,Nuclear,Fire,Ice,Earth,Wind,1H Sword,2H sword,Whip,Spear,Gun,Tech,Light,Darkness,Curse,Miracle etc.) which I find completely bloody unnecessary.

They removed the AMERICAn rock and put in some Jpop which is kinda meh(Except for the Boss Theme,Bloody Destiny, which is great)
The story is somewhat non-existent so far(HEY!The bad guy went over there, lets follow him! No,now he is over there lets go there!Shit,he must be overthere!) and the characters went from trying to kill each other(Mark and Nanjo) to just insulting each other and then ignoring each other.
Also, the little retard I accepted into my party(Brown) keeps calling himself the leader and I kinda want to smack him.

Overall,a fun game so far,a bit different than anything else I played, sometimes annoying and rage inducing, but still cool...ish.

Nope, if there are you've patched it wrong, or the guy who took it over after me fucked it up. My version was full English and stable.

I didn't patch it myself, I just downloaded it from some website. There was only 2 instances where I saw Portuguese.

I've been attempting to give equal attention to Titanfall, Destiny and the Master Chief Collection. Destiny is winning the battle here. ;D
All of your Mugen Portrait needs may be found HERE.

I'd like to report two robots on the MFG forums: One is EXShadow. The other is Saikoro.
There should be a Saikoro plugin for Photoshop.

Left 4 Dead 2

I can see why people love this game so much. It's pace is insane, the zombies aren't scary at all but their fast movements and strength in numbers scared the shit out of me since I didn't know what to expect when I started playing this. Oh damn, I have to play this on LAN with my mates.

Zombies aren't scary, teammates with grenade launchers and people who throw bile everywhere are scary. I assume you don't have it on Steam correct?
