The Wolf Among Us

I got this after seeing all the positive comments about the Telltale game series. Honestly, I was expecting a super boring ass comic styled visual novel type game. Damn was I wrong. The story is very engaging and the gameplay, especially the quicktime fighting parts, are quite actually very fun. So far I've finished the first episode and oh my dayum that ending left me pissed (in a good way). That just goes to show that this game does in fact affect your feelings, which I assume to be a hint of good writing

Sleeping Dogs

After getting raped in Rome Total War, I saw this and wanted to try it out. The combat system is quite similar to the Batman Arkham games, but I actually found that useful; it also adds some extra things like grappling and environment moves. The overall game system looks well made so far and the graphics look gorgeous even on my terrible GFX card. I'm playing this on the lowest settings and I am NOT disappointed at all. I hope I actually finish this game.

I dug chapter one, the next 2 were a bit annoying at first. Pretty fun game though, I like the idea of sneaking/hiding, seems a lot more effective here than taking enemies head on. Only time I ever really jumped or got slightly scared so far though was chapter 1 when the dude spotted me and began chasing me.

Still playing this. Finally made my way to Chapter 6, man this game is hard. It feels like a mixture of Silent Hill 1 and Resident Evil 4 to me. Those bombs are getting on my damn nerves, man. I've got to pay tons of attention to the ground and I keep getting blown the fuck up. All in all it's a pretty fun game though, i'm digging the story and the creepy environment changes. I feel like a jackass for wasting almost 5 bullets trying to shoot the statue of a flying bird for a morgue key though.

Dragon Age: Inquisition

I am LOVING this game so far. Aside from eating dinner and taking a shower, playing this game is all I did from 6pm - 12am. I thought I was passed playing video games all day, but I guess I was wrong! :lol

The play space is massive, and there is so much to do. Some of it is busy work, yes, but it's busy work with a purpose. A Blacksmith may need iron to make weapons for your army, which increases your military strength, for instance. It's also worth noting that the iron can be gathered while you're running around exploring and establishing camps in the area.

Combat is fun but the tac cam gets hung up on the environment quite a bit, making it inconvenient to use at times. This pretty much means that unless a battle is extremely difficult, I don't think I'll be using it. I'll just pause and issue commands as I did from time to time in DAO and 2. I think this should be less of an issue if you play with kb/m on PC though.

The game is gorgeous BTW, and the sound design is incredible.

If you like WRPGs, get this game.

For a while I've been interested in Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, especially when a friend of mine told me it was "a fucking gay game with a shit story line compared to Far Cry 3", right then and there I knew this was the game for me, and I'm loving it so far. The atmosphere of it, style, and music are just damn nice, although I hear it's short, which honestly is a plus for me since I like my games to be short, allows for more replay value imo.

I decided to buy a wii U a week ago and pretty much because of this and yes, this game its perfection not only that its beautiful, amazing and fun, just picked it up today so I might stay up till late lol, gotta love Pac-Man a character ive always wanted in this game and its finally a dream come true, thank you and congrats Nintendo!

I honestly got bored as hell with Diablo 2 for some reason, but this game is very fun

I can run this at full graphics even with my shit GFX card. This is a miracle.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection

Though more tinkering around with my new One in general. It's fun to have a simple and viable means to flood Facebook with game recordings. Starting with Combat Evolved Anniversary and going in order on Legendary because it'd just be wrong to do it any other way, and it feels super weird to have this whole 60 FPS thing going on while switching back and forth between the original look and updated.

Weird that they don't spoiler anything about the game's details until you've already played through it though. I guess most people who'd get the collection already know about Halo, but kinda sucks for those new going in not knowing the series and having who dies written out on the mission details.

Also amusing they put all the harder unlocked and special edition customization armors up for everyone from the start. Including Bungie's staff only flaming heads. Wonder if they fixed the intentional bugs on it if everyone's got it now.

WHY IS THIS GAME SO GOOD HOLY CREP
Basically,you're the 7th member of the Stardust Crusaders.
It all began when you were going to school and you walked into the sickbay only to see Jotaro fight off a Nurse,and then you help him beat the shit out of Kakyoin because you awakened to a stand this morning.

There are like 18 stands that the main character can have,based on the answers you give to Avdols pop quiz.
At first I got Miracles,which is a stand that uses bio-electricity to cause hallucinations and manipulate the sub-conscious,but I restarted it and went with Howlin' Wolf,who is pure power and who made beating the shit out of Kakyoin much easier.
(I actually wanted to get Deep Purple,but I fucked up)

There are multiple endings,and they all depend on how you handled the bosses and what decisions you made and how well you got along with everyone.
Hell some endings depend on what Stand you have and what personality you have.
The game is made in RPG Maker 2000 and its really really good.I accidentally grabbed the older version so I have some font issues here and there but fuck it.

There are also a TON of references and weird cameos.
When Joseph arrives from the airport you can see Rohan and Koichii talking to the reception.At the restaurant you meet Polnareff at you can see the entire part 5 gang talk by the table.
Behind the school there is a short fat kid who is having a lot of trouble with a cat.....

A small ammount of early game grinding is kinda necessarry,at least till level 3-4 when you got solid Stand Abilities,which isn't a problem as you level up easily.
There are no "Random Encounters",however you can see the enemies on the map and if they run into you,you'll have to fight them.
Bosses usually have some kind of a catch that you need to figure out.However,some bosses can be almost completely skipped by using "brainstorm",however using that a lot can get you on a bad ending route.

Apparently there are bosses after you beat DIO,and some Part 2,4 and up characters that are fightable,but they are secret.
A really great game so far,really liking it.
Any JoJo fan should check it out.

Been playing a lot of this because I enjoy customizing my own rosters, rivalries, titles and tag teams, lol. The main issue i've noticed after putting 100+ hours into WWE2k13 and 14 and checking out 12 that a friend owned, I see that they reuse all preset moves, entrances, hair, clothing and logos. It's incredibly hard to differ customization in the games when everything's the same as the year prior, the only difference for the most part is new superstars. If the customization remains the same though there should really be a feature for CAW/customization transferring, so i don't remake stuff that's all the same. I was hoping 15 would give me new customization and something besides universe mode, but afaik it doesn't for ps3 users, only next gen consoles. So I won't be purchasing any new WWE games unless I buy a PS4 that's for sure.

I still enjoy the crazy title changes, feuds and rivalries that go if you let them simulate. As of right now CM Punk & Hulk Hogan are feuding for the WWE World Heavyweight Title and Hogan's the heel, lmao. Ryback & Chris Jericho are feuding for the Intercontinental Title and Jericho's the heel, Sheamus & Big Show for the US title and they're both face, Briscoe Brothers feuding with Prime Time Players for Tag Titles and PTP are heel, lmao.

Biggest title-less feuds happening are Undertaker/Kevin Steen with Steen as the heel & Bobby Roode/Hideo Itami both as face, competing for spot in Royal Rumble. Also got Aj Lee & Lita feuding for Divas title with heel Lita.

Very weird set up, but I enjoy playing through the fantasy matches, lol.
