But because the god of drawing, spriting and coding I am not, to bring that down to something smaller, I guess I'd like to give making Lion-O, Domon Kasshu or possibly Optimus Prime a try.  Unrelated to all that, maybe a Spawn that has a cape.

To keep it even more grounded than that, a Venom a la POTS would be fun.

Wolf from PAYDAY: The Heist & PAYDAY 2. I find it hard to create a movelist for him though, which isn't really that important anyway considering that there are no sprites of him at all :P, but still, one of the very few characters that would convince me to actually make him for standard mugen rather than for a fullgame.

Ow... really touching thread. For me, i've want to make Darun Mister, Yoko Harmageddon, Clemence Keliber and many others grapple type chars. But my lack of knowledge plus an even bigger lack of interest stop me from trying it, BUT, mostly, what really stop me is because the time i could spend making those chars is time i should spend working in my novels and comics. So no, it looks like those dreams gonna stay down for a long time. Even if i tried with a .snd Darun edit of MMR Zangief and other kind of edits.

Anyway, for now i'm having fun making stages from unreleased games.

1) If my sprite talents were top notch like Balthazar or Diepod id create Bionic commando. Im a HUGE fan of that character. so many ideas id run with that.

-The NES design version (with spike hair) id do how Balthazar does his sprites with the Z warriors

-The re armed version id sprite it CVS style

2) I would create Abel SSF4 in CVS sprite style and run with the pots style vibe for the hell of it

The idea of this thread seemed original, but I notice that it has become a very similar thread to "the Most Wanted..." thread.

For now, my main wish is fix my two characters making them more playable. I already started to revamping Ash from 0, making him more POTS-ish since he hasn't the chain combos from Infinite style. Also, he's a co-op project, a lot of things doesn't work as I want. Duo Lon is simply shit. Both have a lot of problems with velocities, framecount, and parameters of gameplay. They're pretty bad :C Why I still consider this as a wish? Well, even if I have completed roughly 70% of the character (Ash), I quickly lose my interest and start to work slow. Another of my wishes is finally taking charge on Shen, but I won't start with fim until finish with my other two characters.

Another great desire would be to have the qualities to make decent Luffy sprites. Even in chibi style I've been using for my WIP, certain animations produced many problems :/

A dinosaur themed stages. Old retro style with C&D feel. The problem now is the sprites of course. Me and Toaster can't fully sprite shits.

I would like to make a Sheng Long using CvS sprites, but I don't think there are sprites for him. Oh, and a custom Robo-Ky too :P

Here is a long list of characters I have on my mind but given how slowly and obsessively I work I probably won't even tackle half of them

- Basara, Amakusa, and Mizuki from Samurai Shodown. How I'll approach them still puzzles me to this day due to how the design of the game is tricky to implement in MUGEN.
- Jill Valentine with her MVC2 moveset AND a Resident Evil accurate mode where she has limited ammo, tank controls, and a helper that will fuck up the camera on you. Whether or not I want to make her main mode MVC2 accurate is for me to figure out if I ever get there
- Kasumi from Blood Warrior
- Kim-Maree from Jackie Chan in Fists of Fire
- A C_Evil character made in POTS style
- Chin from KOF '96
- AC Current from Tattoo Assassins
- Lipsyncher from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Fighting Edition
- Gengar from Pokemon Type Wild but with like, a good gameplay base.
- Karasu from Ninja Master's but I really gotta think of how I'd approach him
- Top Fighter 2000 MK VIII Goku
- Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 Stryker
- Ultimate Mortal Kombat Trilogy Sektor
- An "original" UMK3 ninja with a color scheme that's just a random garbled mess of colors named "SHIT"
- MVC2 Marrow with 2 different assist type Marrows for Assists
- Maybe actually try Naga from Battle Monsters again
- KOF debug sprite viewer: the character
- Sin with Sebastian screenpack

And now for the even more unlikely things for me to get to work on because I'm still practicing on my spriting and animation
- Original shit especially Neko Apple Spider
- Smeargle and Mewtwo from Pokemon
- Ultra Touhou (A monstrosity comprised of dead touhou character carcasses merged together)
- Martha from D2
- The cake from hell from Illbleed. Yes he can give pieces of himself to his partner to heal him/her in simul mode.
- Aya from Parasite Eve
- Heather from Silent Hill 3
- Doctrine Dark from Street Fighter EX
- Scias from Breath of Fire 4
- Phelddagrif from Magic The Gathering
- Dennis Hopper Bowser
- Dragon Ball Evolution Piccolo with his moves lifted from the PSP game. Probably made in a rip-off of the Z2 style just for laughs.

I'm also under the impression that people keep neglecting data from the game, do you guys know how PotS made his original characters? He actually studied every single game he referenced, down to the core. Doing this properly requires understanding how the original system was made, not just winging it.

no idea why this reminded me that one of my ideas was Toilen, which was another len edit but she would just generally do really horrifying things and all of her sounds would be a toilet flushing

I WOULD MAKE BF DORAEMON. And maybe the rest of the PTW characters(Despite the fact I hated it, but I digress.) And the Fighters Kyotadai characters in custom gameplay. And also maybe the main character from Pu. Ri. La. La. And maybe a Master Higgins. And maybe some generic loli killer. And maybe a custom sprited Spongebob. And Haggar Mario from Knuckle Fighters. And another Kirby. And KMF characters. And more characters like SNS's characters. And Giant from SCWU. And.............................................

............If I knew how to code. I'm also WAYYYYYYYYYYY to lazy, so they would just be a one sprited KFM swap.

Also, I want to edit:

DG's Ryu(To fix Shin Shoruken hitbox.)

Expect nothing, but remeber everything.+ I am tired. Future spot for Doraemon in MvC picture, the second I learn to create it. (Even further: Pepsiman for Mvc picture.) Insert random Doraemon anime .gif. (Also, Pac-Man Delta whaling on a MLP character .gif........) Now, Wipeout....... OTHER STUFF? Needs blue SSB 64 Mario in tornado .gif......... Add Super Mario Fighters 3 sprite here........ Also, now doing KFA stuff...

This reminds me of another old thread.  Characters you'd make if you could be bothered

I tried starting a character last  year around this time, a custom Toshio from Shadow Fighter using Cenobite's rips. 
I even went as far as color separating all his sprites.  Just didn't end up getting much past that. 

I'd really like to make a Tekken 2 Kazuya with his player 2 outfit (with the demon on his back), but I wouldn't have a clue where to start.
