That's right. My brain was focused on the partially complete beta. So yes... Primal Rage 2.

And Shaq Fu 2 would be awesome. They should just release it on the SNES and call it a day. And speaking of the SNES/Genesis, WeaponLord 2 should see the light of day.

Proper order of things is often a mystery to me

Haven't heard of it before, but a quick search say it provided a basis for Soul Calibur, so I'd be interested.

Something I'd love to see, actually, would be a new 3D Godzilla fighting game. What with the new movie coming out for it would be a good opportunity to include this new one, too.

That or at least an HD re-release of Destroy All Monsters.

SoulCalibur and its sequels are the sequels of SE but a lot gameplay mechanics are damn different from the first game, and if any of the rumors were true that SE was inspired by WL (which i don't believe) it would have provided the base for SE.

I think the rumor is total bullshit.

^but the kof "style" is pretty much the standard these days, which I actually don't mind, (see svc, ngbc) which is fitting cuz kof started out as a ngbc type deal anyway

also I agree with the ff and aof remake thing, which is why ffwa is one of my favorite games, ever to this day, (I still have a ps1 copy) and I'm working on that comic

i liked the realistic approach they took towards geese's defeat with him just getting his shit wrecked brutally and to near death instead of surviving a multi-tenfold story fall from a tower pre-immortality-inducing jin scrolls, makes krauser coming to wreck face to find out who bopped his half brother more sensible, tho the suicide by defeat thing is a bit over dramatic don't ya think, krauser, I mean shit

I completely forgot about Bushido Blade!! The first game still holds up incredibly well, especially in the graphics department. It's also one of the best bamboo tree cutting simulators money can buy!!

Eh, I'm less worried over that as a real deterrent to having an Xbox Smash Bros., people change their minds over things like that often enough. I'm more curious what would make for a worthwhile roster.

Can't speak for others, but I'd go for a game with Master Chief, Kaim Argonar, Marcus Fenix, maybe Lightning and Dishwasher.

As for that prototype, should Primal Rage 2 ever get made, I hope they stick to the god dinos, rather than this.

I'm pretty sure they're actually parts of the game's "Plot Cancels" mechanic. As well as that breast cancer bit.

I'm also under the impression that people keep neglecting data from the game, do you guys know how PotS made his original characters? He actually studied every single game he referenced, down to the core. Doing this properly requires understanding how the original system was made, not just winging it.
