simple question: what would you do with time travel + immortality + the ability to travel between realities (is there a word for that?) + no cons to the previously mentioned powers. if you can think of a con, then think of a power that covers it. for example: after living for a few hundred years, you might forget important things or there are things you want to forget, so, add the power to recall or erase a memory to the previous powers.

please, do not read others' ideas before posting. i'd like to see what different people would do.

oh, i forgot to add that you can travel to different realities (which are infinite). i'll add it now.
why do you consider it a curse? think of a power that negates that reason.

I'd spend my days flitting around through time and space, visiting interesting periods of history and bearing witness to strange cosmic phenomena.  Maybe pick up a travelling companion or two, stop a couple of alien invasions.

I'd force SNK to actually make Original Zero look different from Commander Pringles Clone Zero.

I'd travel back to 1960, build a modern day Windows desktop, mass produce them and call the company TRUEMicah.  :P
I'd develop laws to prevent acts such as SOPA to be created.

I'm suddenly reminded of Dr. Manhattan. Awesome topic by the way.

Immortality: I would do my best to stay connected to regular people and embrace the times as they always change. I wouldn't want to get disconnected from regular people, but I would have to be careful to not get too attached since everyone I would end up connecting with would die one day. This is like the ultimate juxtaposition.

Time Travel: I wouldn't mess with too much (As evidenced by Timecrimes) but I would go into the future to see what happens, and if anything terrible happens, and do something to prevent something if that terrible if it we're to go down. I'd also exploit time travel knowledge pretty much like Marty McFly did in Back to the Future II. And I'd also go back to bibilcal times to see what really went down. And kinda mess with people.

Realities: If there were alternate realities, I'd surely explore them. I'd also travel across the universe to see what else is really out there. Again, Dr. Manhattan is coming to mind. Walking on the surface of the Sun would be rad too (Watchmen reference!!).
All of your Mugen Portrait needs may be found HERE.

I'd like to report two robots on the MFG forums: One is EXShadow. The other is Saikoro.
There should be a Saikoro plugin for Photoshop.

@C.A.N:
there's no need to force any company to make anything since you can travel to realities where whatever you want is already there.

@TRUEMicah:
why not travel to a reality where that already exists?

@Saikoro:
messing with the past or future means creating a new reality, not actually changing history. i also said "no cons", so if you want to get attached to someone, you can make THEM an immortal.

Yeah, but that's boring! I want the visceral pleasure of holding them all hostage until they change his sprites! :twisted:

If there is no way to just end it at some point, I would get bored out of my fucking mind.

Yeah, that works.

No witty quotes though.

Think about it: I may never die, but everyone else will. People would eventually learn of my immortality and they'd be sticking me with needles to find what keeps me from dying. If Earth were consumed by a black hole, I'd be fucked because I couldn't escape from it. Eventually, my memories would start to flee me, I'd forget who my first friends and parents were, and I would go insane. The human mind can only carry so much information. People need to be able to die.

All the fun ideas I think up are quickly overshadowed by how much things will suck when I get bored of it. As many possibilities as such powers open, I would probably think I ran through each and every one of them in a day because I'd see things from the perspective of having unlimited time. Eeee, imagine what a boring day feels like when you see things from the perspective of having infinite time left....

I'm also under the impression that people keep neglecting data from the game, do you guys know how PotS made his original characters? He actually studied every single game he referenced, down to the core. Doing this properly requires understanding how the original system was made, not just winging it.

@Lolmechy
there are infinite realities, which means infinite different movies, infinite different endings to movies, infinite music, comics, books, histories, game matches, ANYTHING.

@Mothman
like i said, if you can think of something bad, cover it with a power. make who you want live forever, find somebody you'd want to spend eternity with and do it. also, you can travel at will, so nobody can strap you and stick you with needles unless you want to, nothing can stop you unless you want to.

come on, people. nothing interesting?

Again, time kills all emotions over time till there is nothing but the tediousness of it all left. It would be a great for a while, but if I can't off myself at some point then why bother?
come on, people. nothing interesting?
Well fuck you pal, this is not the most interesting question either.

Yeah, that works.
