This was originally meant to be only which shoto you preferred sprite-wise, but N-Mario pointed out it would be best to ask which you preferred gameplay-wise aswell. Now... with all that being said! What's your shoto preferance?SF1?SF2?SFA?MvC?Gem Fighter?Pocket Fighter?SvC: MotM?CvS?SvC Chaos?SF3?Street Fighter: The Movie?Also... I have no idea how to edit the poll? Anyone know how?

I liked them all but I prefer the SvC Chaos, the shotos in SvC are one of the best sprited in the Capcom side IMO. Also cause SNK
had a hard time deciding between cvs and sf3... I went with sf3... I love cvs but sf3 was just revolutionary as gameplay wise

I still prefer SFA over others, I like the style of those sprites since always so I voted for SFA/MVC
CVS of course, not much realistic, but not much cartoonistc, its the sprite base for the best M.U.G.E.N. chars.
Is it possible to separate the SFA/MvC style? While the graphics are the same, the game play is completely different. I actually prefer SFA alone, but I don't really prefer MvC.Unless this is just about graphics wise, and not gameplay wise? Also, you forgot Gem Fighter Minimix/Pocket Fighter, NGPC SvC: MotM, and SF The Movie styles.
Cybaster said, May 11, 2013, 11:12:16 amHow are system and sprites related whatsoever ?Misread original post. Thought this was about what shoto version we liked overall.Even still. CVS sprites are the best imo
TylorGoldenYoshi said, May 12, 2013, 10:28:36 pmCvS, then SFA, then SF3.I didn't think of putting things in order based off of the title. Good call.First off, I voted CvS. I loved Capcom's take on SNK characters and the game played so very well. While CvS2 is a better product overall, I love the front end system (E.G. Screenpack) that the first one provided. Everything about that game oozed incredible style, and the second game, I feel, had a harder time keeping up with that style even though it played slightly better. If I had to go in order, CvS is first, followed by SF3 and then SFA/MvC. SvC gets honorable mention because we saw Capcom through SNK's eyes. And it was awesome.

SFA is a strong 2nd due to this, follow'd by SvC [Violent Ken is awesome as hell, & this is also home to Geese's rawest lookin' Raging Storm, imo].
Within CapcomKen (XvsSF), Morrigan (DS3, MVC2)OthersKy (GGX2), Kairi(SFEX2), Orochi Chris(KOF98), Sol (GGX2), Terry(Garou/CVS2/KOF97), SailorNeptune(SMJR), Tia(Breakers Revenge), Hanzo/Fuuma (WH2/WHP/NGBC)

MvC and SF2 tied. I'm a fan of the former's gameplay as with the latter, but the latter also has a large nostalgia factor for me.
Pocket Fighter, had great gameplay, the sprites were awesome, SF3 is a close behind with SF Movie. My least favorite was SNK, their characters look too shiny.PS. Am I the first to choose Pocket Fighter?
