I mean damn, I simply transfer my computer data over from my old laptop to my new one, not editing anything except maybe the "motif = data/system.def" part of the mugen.cfg file (which actually fixed a previous problem which was preventing from mugen opening up at all) and editing a character's command file, and now, for some reason, none of the music files for stages play anymore...How does that have ANYTHING to do with what I did? And my old laptop plays the music files nicely. In fact, I have three mugens that I currently use. The old standard low-res mugen, which is playing the stage song files fine on the new laptop, and two other mugens. However those two, my Hi-res Mugen and the version of Mugen that plays both low-res stages and hi-res stages (they blow up the low-res stages to fit the screen) do not play stage music files for some f*cking reason. I don't know what's going to fix this, since I doubt I did anything that should stop it from playing stage song files. This is awkward and retarded.
Oh God...THIS is the only reply here?Come on people, please tell me what could be wrong...I know the song files are supposed to work. They're in the sound folder, and the stage files are associated with the songs since I've checked. JUST WHAT could be preventing the song files from playing!?!?! It isn't a volume issue. I hear the character voices and their moves and blows...but not the music...
Wow...I just ported over my mugen from my old laptop to this one...the mugen that is WORKING on my old laptop, JUST ported it over to my new one and the same shit is happening. I didn't alter this in the least...is it because this is Windows 7 and the other is Windows Vista? Wierd. I'll just try and build up Mugen from scratch with the same character/stages/music fold etc.
