Wow, what a surprise. I'm either helping or asking.

Anyway: A concern I've been having is that a lot of my characters (Primarily, some Touhou ones and Saber and Archer's) have attacks that clearly cause them to hit, but no damage is calculated. From what it looks like, it looks like the characters with a bar with them. Some of them say MRF. Some say GRF. Some have both. Is this because there is no HitDef defined and it is a mistake? or is it because this is intentional and this is part of some weird system I've never heard of.

  • Coming Soon?
check the attacks for the hitdefs and the damage lines if nothing is there make a hit def or a damage= line

maybe there is some combo dampening in the character and by the time you combo your way to that attack it does 0

If you have a non-default screenpack, common1.cns may have been changed.  Use the default common1.cns that comes with mugen and see if anything changes.

I'm looking at Mai_K by kuri's CNS and it clearly has a HitDef and a Damage definition for her Standing Light Kick. When I ran it in MUGEN, when the common1.cns was replaced, still nothing. I'm still thinking this is part of a system. An annoying system.
