Well, i'll just get right to the point, a friend of mine needs some help with spiriting, but the thing is is that he needs a whole sheet done up for him. I would do it myself, but my hands a full atm and its more convenient for me to just pay someone. Its a kingdom hearts sheet he need in a hi-res format. To be more precise its sora he needs. I'm looking for a good spriter that thinks that they could take on the job. I'll be willing to pay about 20 to 30$ for the job. And no its not Bull Shit, i will pay you. If you like i could even pay first if your not sure. :)

i need to see your works before i take you on for the job. :)

Get real. I even said  would pay first if you didn't feel comfortable with it. :S

See DeviantART. An artist for a drawing (inked, coloured, printed in a poster and even send to your house) charge like US$50 for commision. Making a HR spritesheet as you asked takes a lot of time and effort than a drawing like these. Believe me, for 50 bucks it's too cheap for a work like that...

And I don't think your petition is a joke, the prize you offer maybe

if you want something worthwhile and not a quick kyo edit then don't expect anything under 300

also if i recall correctly borghi made an entire character for someone (sprites included) for roughly 2000 dollars

If i could do more, then i would, but as you can see, i'm not rich. 50 to 60 is about my limit. Its a take it our leave it situation. And here the things needed.

- Low-res sprites. You can use a base if needed.
- for about 50 to 60$
- good spriter willing to do it.
-my approval.

yeah well good luck with that

if the character you want sprites for is popular enough you could try asking for donations from people that like that particular character and would like to see a good spriteset of it

there is absolutely nothing sarcastic in the previous post

also why doesn't your friend take care of this comission business or at least help you with some money because as i see it right now he asked you -> you're asking for someone else -> you're paying for a spritesheet because a friend wants sprites and apparently won't pay for any of it

also i'm moving this to mugen discussion because this board isn't for these things

Wow..this is harder than i thought it would be..  :S

Im willing to do all the coding so thats a load off if anything..Im just tired of all the damn chibi characters out there..and the fact that all of the Kingdom Hearts characters suck ass..I just want to change that..and look at this way..your non professional and your getting paid to do something like this..Hell in the voice acting world I would  kill for an opportunity to get paid to do something I love..Hell that goes for anything..not just voice acting..

you must be kidding...

I charge $ 5-7 per sprite depend if the project is commercial or non

and actually hires isn't always more difficult than low res, actually hi res is much more forgiveable for small mistakes or shortcuts.

last time I asked around here some spriters said that they spend 30min-1hrs per sprite, then use that to calculate the time and money you would have to spent on it.

but wait, Iced can make sprite in 5 minutes.
