I also support the ban on winane provided that he still is secretly warehousing someone's stage after he said it was down and such.  He offers the hidden link to leechers who make direct requests to him.  It's hurting the image of Mugen Guild.

It's not secret.  ;P

Oh, hey, I'd been meaning to ask you for a banner since, like, April 24 of last year.  Thanks for reading my mind!  :sugoi:

Awesome, looks nice, thanks.  Though... the black portion on the banner kinda brings to mind a background image that failed to finish downloading.  How would it look with the sky sprite taking up the entire background?  Or, might it work to replace the black portion with a sort of parallax-floor-like graphic?  I lack the aesthetic sense to predict what would look good, but maybe a tilted version of the graphics used in Elecbyte's training stage?  What do you think?

Hm, not sure whether I should go with both of your images, for consistency, or go for variety and switch the button out with this one BDI made for me which I've been meaning to use since April 24 of last year:

Looks like most of the others went with consistency, but I'd hate to not use what BDI made after having asked him for that favor.  :-\

Regardless, I'm indebted to the both of you.  m(_ _)m
Still quite busy.

(Yes, I intend to deal with that stuff eventually, but kinda can't just yet, sorry. :/ )

I would advise against that, there's already lots of mouseover movement on the front page as it is :P

Oh, sorry, by "tilted" I meant, like, tilted around a horizontal axis parallel to the viewing plane.  Something like the floor in this:
http://www.geocities.com/vibhp/mugen/stages/stage1.jpg
Yep, ban2 and ban4 look fairly decent. :)  But in order to give an additional hint as to the content of the site (i.e., the parallax tutorial, plus with the Elecbyte sprite sorta symbolic of the open public domainedness of most of my work), would it be too much trouble to add that kind of floor?  Perhaps as a transparent grid, with the aurora borealis visible behind it?  And possibly also with the tilt as in ban3 (which also looks quite decent), if that helps with vertical visual balance or simply making it more interesting.  (I have no sense of how much work is involved with each step, so do lemme know if I'm asking too much at all.)

you could also use BDI's button as a "link to me" button in your page.
Oh, yeah, that'd work.  I'll do that, thanks.
Still quite busy.

i made a button and banner but he didn't like something about the banner (which was an easy fix), i said i would fix it but i never did

I've unearthed the old posts about the banner and added them into this topic (they are now the first posts here!). For easy reference (and confusion). :grin3:
