When I continue after losing, mugen crashes with the error "Cant Open Stage: Randes/(stage name).def". I think this has to do with the fact that the characters all have random stages, but I don't know what else is going wrong. I have checked and rechecked my select.def, and the stages themselves.Any help would be appreciated.
you are using a very old version of Winmugen. you should consider update to a more recent one (Winmugen plus is the most used, but will require a Hi-res screenpack. IINM, the regular winmugen hosted on random select already have that bug fixed).if you really wish to keep that version, you have to assign a stage to every character, rather than random. another work around is to copy one of your stages .def file, and name it random.def. but everytime you continue, you will go to that stage.
Actually make another folder named randes in your mugen folder copy all your stages there then thats it.
Sorry both are incorrect you must use spaces, and the word randomselect, not randomexample!\!.def, randomselect, music=, order=1;!You can continue same stage, same adversary every time.
