welp, seems like he went away from that stupidly over-the-top version of master huang from martial masters to make this



...is it me or has he been completely normal lately? he usually makes his stuff completely fucking insane, but this is pretty damn close to source. i think about the only difference i noticed was that his umbrella throw (in that screenshot) is now a normal throw command rather than a run that goes into a grapple, but y'know what, that's such a goddamn stupid idea that i welcome this change

edit: bah i think that's my webspace crapping out again, so here's a really bad vid of me playing the same character in source while half-consciously swearing a lot due to sleep deprivation because i literally cannot find another vid of this character being played in said game. sorry

...And only yesterday did I change my avatar to piss Geegus. What a coincidence.

Now I'm hoping for a decent port of the clown and that wacky werewolf who looks like a beefed Karman Cole in his intro, those are my two favourite characters barring Stevareno.

yeah, with a ninja, some warrior chick that can shoot beams out of her breasts, a football player, jester, a werewolf, and a flame dude, sorry about that, also, alien challenge doesn't have a win screen with a win quote which make this accurate to the game, still though, i wish he could've updated all his saturday night slam masters character with voices from the winner and loser screen

these guys are mindreaders, i swear, happened way too many times (masa with goldrush, mass with hiryu, ngi with sagojo)

and regarding that, i'd see where he'd get confused (although i have no idea where he got the idea that it's this character that's an edit from martial masters with alien challenge gameplay...). same author made an edit of master huang also named 'wong fei hung' a long time ago, and it wasn't alien challenge gameplay -- it was fucking insane gameplay

When I saw the character's name, I was excited, but when I saw the author's name, I became upset, but looked anyway.  This is perhaps the most accurate character descolor has converted.  Mass seemed obsessed with secondary characters (especially female ones for the same reason why Mai Shiranui is the most highly-praised Fatal Fury character), while descolor likes to mess up some hero characters.

Anyway, descolor's Wong Fei Hung ooks pretty darn faithful to his source, but I noticed that he is missing the blood, the "red flashing ability", and perhaps the "POWER" items falling on stage (if that ever happened in the source).  Mass' Stevareno has them, but his default "bouncing effects" can still be seen with the dust ones from the source. And he has a few fan-made Desperation Moves.  Perhaps Mass' Stevareno's speed and direction movements are slightly more accurate than descolor's Wong Fei Hung's.  The hair twirl taunt of descolor's Wong Fei Hung's moves slower than his source version's, then freezes before changing scenes.

Overall, descolor could have done it better, but it's better than nothing and especially heavily-arranging characters to make them fight ape-$#!+.
My Mugen Wish List would include protagonists, mascots and other iconic characters with everything they have brought straight from their source with little or no editing.

please keep request in the actual request sections and before that look for the actual names of the contributions on the search engine, Sagojo was converted by NGI and is quite recent at that.
