Aja's style is actually what makes her interesting to me, but that's because I don't like "freak" fighting styles.
I'm a Darkstalkers fan :P

Though with such a small roster if we need another "normal" fighter it might as well be her.

If it gets a sequel the roster will be large enough to support a "freak" or 2 at that point :)

Wish I could get details on when and how they want my NPC art.

Bad news. Today we found out this morning that PayPal have restricted Nyu Media’s PayPal account and are refusing to release funding raised for Yatagarasu AoC.

The email from PayPal advises us that they have ‘reserved’ the funding and will release ‘up to 50% of the funds’ before Yatagarasu AoC is released and the rest only after they have verified copies of paid invoices. What’s more, they provide no option to discuss, stating we should ‘contact us closer to the release date beginning of next year’ to arrange release of the funds.

We appreciate irony as much as the next person, but PayPal refusing to provide funds legitimately raised to complete a game until after the game is released isn’t just beyond ridiculous – it potentially derails the game development. To add insult to injury, not only do Nyu Media and the Yatagarasu developer team have rock solid track records, but we’ve already provided PayPal with documents providing the bona fides of Nyu Media, the developer, and the campaign.

To be fair, we should have seen this coming – it doesn’t take much research to find other examples of PayPal’s practice of refusing to release funds for crowdfunding campaigns (e.g. Skullgirls, Glassup), but chalk this up to our misplaced faith that PayPal might have changed their approach since then.

We are discussing implications with the Yatagarasu development team and will press our case with PayPal UK’s customer service when they open tomorrow. Best case scenario: reason and PayPal’s new “Customer First” direction bring this to a swift conclusion; worst case scenario: we may end up refunding PayPal contributions and arranging donations by other methods. Please stand by and we will provide updates just as soon as possible.

In the meantime, please feel free to help our cause by directing any feedback or directly to @PayPalUK and @PayPal.

Uche keeps proving that he only likes to talk for the sake of talking even if it's something dumb.

Paypal has been fucking terrible since forever yeah, the increased rates (Especially when there's any kind of conversion) are the worst, also if you're trying to sell something and someone tries to scam you and says you never sent the item Paypal will always side with the buyer. (They're also kinda shitty when it comes to buyers, if you get a counterfeit item either they don't ask for proof or they ask for ridiculous proof that ends up being more expensive than the counterfeit item)
It's almost impossible to reach their support via email too, unfortunately I don't see Paypal disappearing anytime soon.

I saw this at work today. I was about to get pretty pissed till I scrolled down and saw that it had been resolved. I was going to send a complaint in as well. I wonder if Comcept will get to go through this too... Why is this becoming a trend lately? If they don't trust the company they should state so right from the start. Their practices make no sense!

Comcept will be fine. Amazon Payments is really good about getting people their funds on time from all of the Kickstarters that I've followed.

Legend of Raven is just the first Yatagarasu, right ? Well, I think it's v4.something, but LoR isn't AoC IINM.

They sent out Perk detail Emails. All info needs to be turned into them by December 9th

I hope I put the correct pronunciation for Devon Legacy. They have a field for that so the announcers can say the name properly.
