Hello everyone, I have recently found a way to rip voices from Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. I will slowly be updating this post as I rip the new cast of characters, some are complete and everyone else should be done soon as well. I also have ripped some Bleach Dark Souls voices, both in English and Japanese, so you can enjoy those. I am taking requests, but I can decline if I don't have the game or I just can't get it. Also, ONE REQUEST PER PERSON. If your request is met, please wait a bit before asking for another one so soon.

can you rip the system sounds? It would be cool to finally have the x factor activation sound. Kamekaze wanted that sound for a long time already :P

Well the method I used was I put the actual game in my PS3, used a capture card device and recorded the video and audio there, then once I moved the video file back onto my computer, I made them wavs. So basically, as long as I can get a hold of/own the game, it should be easy.

If you mean Strider Hiryu, I was in the middle of that. Unless you mean Strider, the game, then I'm not sure.

Based on the rips of Hiryu, these are horrible rips. Re-rip all of them.  There's clipping everywhere so you've effectively ripped "most" of the sound itself but not all of it/them.  They're also at 44100Hz and for better sound quality should be ripped at 48000Hz.  People can re-convert them to lower qualities if they want.  Give them the option to do so.

Just on the first one alone there really isn't an improvement.

The red areas are where there should be sound, however, they've been cut out.  You'd need to record the sounds with the in-game sound turned down.  When I recorded MVC3 voice clips, I turned the in-game sound down to 2 notches.  The sounds were still quite audible and there was virtually no clipping.


Having said all this, my recording method is different.  I record directly into my mic jack as opposed to recording video.

Alright then, I did not know that. I'll try to redo all the recordings by the end of the week, for now I'll just leave the ones I have up in the first post, but I'll update them when I have the fixed versions available.

Also, how about the bleach dark souls rips? Aside from being 41000hz, are they also suffering from the same clipping? For those I just ran an emulator with the game and recorded each sounds one at a time on my computer.

I just tested the one clip.  I haven't seen if they suffer from the same problems.  Download Audacity and you can edit and clip them accordingly with ease.
