Ying Yang Room v2.1

This is a stage based in the idea of the ying yang island from mortal kombat deception, the stage have 2 parts, and change and changes every 18 seconds
the stage isnt finished yet
the file contain a hi-res version, that was the original because the sprites was big, but i make a low-res version too

I wouldn't place the flash transition over the chars like it is in the video

Yeah, a bit heavy on the eyes. Or at least make it shorter-lasting, it's a bit too long the way it is IMO. Not seeing anything for that long can be a bit of a disadvantage if you're fighting a tough AI.

Good work otherwise. :)

Um... you might want to fix the music. After awhile, the music desyncs. Like... the music will change a few seconds AFTER the scene has changed. Anyway... other than that little detail, I think the stage is pretty good.

Wow... scary thing is, that this matches me, perfectly.

music can never stay synchronized it's impossible

you can get close to having that illusion but it will always deviate because of bg pause or music pause

also the flash will always remain horrible in front of the characters no matter how you time it

parallax needs alot of work and the deltas are completely off

characters slide away from each other when one walks away and the soft blur of that moon kills

the switching between backgrounds is too soon and drastic IMO

I would shift every 2000 ticks but if you're trying to keep in pace with the music then disregard my suggestion

stage doesn't feel like a 2.0 ver but more like a 0.4

I assume you have everything in place but it needs polishing

try to ignore the hires version i never worked before with a hires stage, this stage not need to be hires,
in the next updates im gonna only post the lowres version, check the deltas and charecter slice in the lowres version, in that version not happen that

im gonna make the switch not so drastic, and for the time, the music isnt a problem, i can make other mix when the time be the best
the change now is gonna be every 30 seconds, then 1800 ticks

about the number of the version, i wanted to start in the v0.1, but aniello wanted to start in v0.5, then the next v1.5, and this v2.0,    
but would be problematic to return the version number, then we will increase in the upcoming versions only 0.1 every time, then the next will be the 2.1



pd: What do you mean when you say the word "IMO"? ???

i updated the stage, i change the stuffs i say bafore, and also i remove the flash in front of the characters, now only appear in the background
the stage change every 30 seconds, then i made other mix for the music, and i change the name of the music file, you should erase the other

Is it called Ying Yang instead of Yin Yang on purpose? Because of the Ying Yang Twins or something?

version 2.0 is an official updated complete release

so 2.1 implies this is the 2nd release with enough changes to fully differentiate it from 1.0

and the 2.1 means you made a slight adjustment

IMO = In My Opinion

the fixes was slight    
but I think in some ways could be considered was the v2.0 because although previous versions were not distributed to the public (tests were privated) there were actually more radical change in terms of the sprites in the other versions

thanks, the stage idea was from aniello(achawo), but I went to see how to code it, never before i used the advanced controls for stages

The idea is nice, the execution needs a little work. I love the concept but the 2 backgrounds are too static for me. At least add some animations (spinning) to the portal and rain to the other or something. Needs ALOT more effects. The concept is totally there though.

Also your Goku HR pallettes dont work for version 6 :'(
