You know? People always like to complain about how Guild is a wretched hive of scum and villainy and how the mods abuse their power to keep it that way.

The reason why Guild can look like such a mean place to some people is because unlike most places you are allowed to express your opinion and have discussions (just like a forum is supposed to be). But of course some people will use this opportunity to be dicks or are simply to stupid to realize when they are doing something wrong, but that's when moderators step into action.

Also, YOU (the user) are expected to moderate yourself and stop and think if your attitude is the correct one, like it's been mentioned several times this isn't a daycare and mods will not hold your hand and walk you through telling you and everyone how to behave. If you are here is because you have at least some basic knowledge on how to behave and deal with others online and in case you don't then pay attention when someone tell you that what you are doing is wrong.

If you don't like where a thread is going or don't like a particular user or someone is being rude to you either ignore it or report it to the moderatos.

tl;dr: Mods, you are doing a good job (most of the time), keep up the good work.

I would be lying if I said I agreed with everything the mods done, because I do feel like harmless jokes get punished a lot when they shouldn't. But the end result is a higher standard and lower tolerance for stupid shit. Hell, just look at Infantry, then look back at Guild.

I'm also under the impression that people keep neglecting data from the game, do you guys know how PotS made his original characters? He actually studied every single game he referenced, down to the core. Doing this properly requires understanding how the original system was made, not just winging it.
