I really didn't see this coming.But hey, a new version of a VG character is always a plus in my book.Quick Feedback: She pretty much feels as Yuka should, with the addition of EX attacks, 6 buttons, and etc. She also feels a bit tighter than Nyan Kiryu's old one. Hopefully some Run/Dodge/Parry/etc. sprites can be done so she could have those features too. But right now she plays fine.
Can't say I know the character, but an edit into a female Shoto-clone makes her fun to play as.Good luck on those dodge sprites mentioned in the ReadMe, by the way. And thanks for the release.
Also, if you do add special intros with other characters do you think you can put the one that Nyan Kiryu did with his Tamao?

Would the super FX during Sou Ren Dan's superpause make more sense positioned on Yuka's hands ? I know it would then hide the red energy FX, but would probably feel better than aligned on her body.Overall, quite a simple character, but good execution.

They're not overly flashy or complex. They have a subtle charm that I like, especially Yuka. I always did like though that her ultimate super was a giant mega death laser though lol. So unexpected really from a cute waitress girl.

The first VG games (which came on the PC98 computer) were p0rn/hentai games. They did became safe games when they moved the series to mainstream consoles.

Moving on, while it would be nice to have a CVS converted Yuka in terms of her sprites, that was never a goal. The edits however are something I'm going to be trying to get. Parrying/Running/Dodge/Rolling/Power Charging is what's needed. I don't think this to be too difficult. I'm really just opting for the bare minimum. Essentially equivalent to KFM's animations. This would work for Yuka anyway, because her sprite style.@Magma DragoonYeah... PAVGN told me this a day or so ago. I never knew that the PC version of the games had sexual content. Even so, I've tested this and haven't really expierenced this. If I cancelled it from something like Idaten Soku or something, then yeah, because they're up in the air. And the beam will carry them up a bit. Anyway, I was planning to tweak it a bit anyway, but not because of this. It's best used when the stage has some room to scoll, along with being mid screen. This won't change, because her lv3 is extremely powerful. Really a "tide turner" when the chips are down. she is quite simple and straight to the point so perhaps isn´t the pick for everyone she plays pretty cool, I like it and pretty flawless couldn´t notice anything worthy of mention (problems) so great job

Whether a char is a "keeper" or not is a matter of opinion overall. Unless it's just completely broken(even this may be subject to debate though...) or crashes MUGEN. Since the series itself is quite obscure, I anticipated Yuka wouldn't be as popular as the rest of my chars. You don't need to apologize to me for not liking the char. It's not like you're disrespecting/offending me or anything. Hell, I'm that way myself, regardless of the creator. Some chars I just don't like. Like Zangief and Benimaru. Wow! I added cvs sounds and effects to VG characters years ago! It's good to see Yuka in a complete cvs/pots-ish style. She could use a power charge, but I'm just happy to see her in this play style. Tamao would be cool in this style as well...

Deal MUGEN deserves more and new VG chars, so yeah, I'll make Chiho and False Yuka in a close future (actually I'm ensembling Chiho's SFF right now), so keep working on Sagat (also, maybe a special intro with my Adon a la POTS in a future) and I hope further you can make Satomi in the same way than Yuka (I can help you with VG references if you want)
Cool. I'd like to make a special intro against my Yuka and your future False Yuka as well. Also, yeah I planned to have Sagat have a special intro against your Adon along with H's Adon. It'll already be set, so all you'll have to do is add it for your Adon when the time comes. That'd be very helpful as well with references with Satomi. Sounds like a plan sir. I do like collaboration. Looking foward to it.

The main thing that was done though, was the updates to the hit/juggle count vars and projectile coding(for those it applies for that is). The updates were done for helpers/projectiles registering for the hit/juggle count var that use varadds for multi hits. Some clsns were touched upon for KFM and Poison. Didn't get Yuka's edits yet I'm afraid. Hopefully in the future.

=11/18/12=Mai has been uploaded with system updates, miscellaneous tweaks to a few moves/clsns, and her new color seperated SFF. Also, the Yusura Ume sprites were swapped with Viofitz's (I believe...) edits of that move. Since there were more well refined. 1.0 patch was updated as well.

Perhaps Divine hasn't sent the files yet or something? Because all the characters still can do Adv Guard and Z-Counter cancels.
