that doesnt really seem animated properly. are the frames out of order?

Finisher? Hmmmm Good thinking!

I add a few frames to this animation to make it a bit more smooth. I actually need to go back and make the arms a bit bigger in some of the frames to keep it looking good! But he moves well! Also this will be a pretty good attack to start off combos! I am thinking i will make both hits special cancel-able!

after the punch lands the arm jerks around all over the place.

Yeah i guess i should add another transiting frame to make it a bit more smooth. I will update it soon!

and after this i guess the close up jab!

Also I want to try to do a different Rapid punch animation for yusuke as well.. Not now but after i get done with the rest of the basics.. here is the list i got left to do.

NEAR Standing Light Punch
NEAR Standing Light Kick
NEAR Standing Medium Kick
FAR Standing Hard Kick

The after that the crouching animations

Crouching Hard Kick
Crouching Hard punch

and then finally the jumping normals and after that customs intros and outros

There are still errors of proportion in the body, which are like 2 different characters from one scene to another. Yusuke's body is very skinny when he gives the punch, like the sprite was "squeezed", mostly in the head.

I think the anim would look better without the extra FX on the punch.

I agree, the effects make it look weird, his head shrinks during the attack, his body (torso and legs) shrink horizontally as well. The animation also doesn't really look "believable", I would look at other, similar functioning attacks and to see how they're constructed.

Nice to see you back. On that animation... It's a little jerky with his right attacking arm, the legs get a little skinnier on the attacking frames, belt area looks like he gets an erection on attacking frames.

I've said this once to you I believe. If you have a camera take a picture of yourself with a similar outfit than take pictures frame by frame. I do that all the time if I end up getting stuck with certain angles on frames before ask for sol's assistance. Even with hand angles.

Nice job and the sprites are improving. Well back to my dungeon to see how imma get myself out this rut that I was placed with.
