Making My First Character, Attacks Not Working
« on: November 06, 2009, 12:47:15 PM »
Hi everybody, I'm a newbie here (of course), and I recently got to work on my first M.U.G.E.N character.  I started off with the "player" template in Fighter Factory and right now everything works fine (animations, controls, select screen, etc.) except for his attacks.

He's got a light punch, a medium punch, a heavy punch, and a midair kick, but only the light punch does any damage.  The other attacks don't even cause the enemy to react.  I've put in a red CLSN box for each attack, and I can't figure out what's wrong.  Does anyone know of a way to fix this?

Welcome, enjoy your stay.

About the problem, check the hitdefs inside the statedefs of the moves.

these Touhou characters should die , and there creator (the original creator of them) should burn on a stick.... thats burning!

he seems to be perfectly capable of palette and head swapping akuma sprites on his own. no need for your legendary skills and valuable time to be wasted.

Thanks, for both the welcome and the tip.  Works perfectly now.  :D
