I know. By "I Wanna Be the Guy type" I mean "He's harder for The Kid than anyone else" as well as "No way am I attempting Mother Brain."

I saw that someone made pretty decent sprite edits of Porky, so I decided to make him as one of the bosses of my maybe-upcoming full game. So here he is.

He also has an aerial lazer, bombs, porky bots, a charge attack, and a slice rampage, but I didn't feel like taking screenshots, so yeah. I'll probably make a video soon if I'm bored enough.
He also has a non-pattern based AI which isn't too hard to exploit IMO. One of my simpler characters; he has less health than my other bosses and doesn't come with a jukebox (in order to make the file size not be almost 30 MB).

Hmm, I noticed something odd, his combo slashing attack costs on power bar, but his DEVASTATING UBER POWERFULL BEAM OF DOOM does'nt cost anything? :S

Reason being: The beams "of doom" are easily avoidable and have a start-up time. The rampage starts nigh-instantly and isn't so easily avoidable.

Yes and No. I won't use Porky's theme from SSBB, but rather the arranged version of his REAL Boss theme from Mother 3...

Staubhold: The Kid's already got it as a lose screen. IMO it wouldn't exactly be IWBTG if these bosses weren't facing The Kid.

Still... It would give those bosses the typical "IWBTG Game Over" feeling...  ;)

Excellent character  :D

The only problem I see is, the move where he goes up in the air and charges his beam, and releases it seems a bit too cheap, tested him against KFM's Abyss Form 1 and Abyss died very easily, may want to tone it down some..

But overall, excellent, you've made this EarthBound fan happy.

It is never a good idea to test a beam type move on a character with Super/Hyper Armor.

Non-boss characters can avoid that move quite easily if they aren't complete morons. Only bosses will be raped by that move.
Glad I could satisfy another Earthbound fan anyway. =D

beams like that are usually [ not always ] an armored char's ultimate weakness, one reason why the traditional way armor is coded sucks ass imo
