I know on mugenesis a guy who ripped/is ripping Heidern from Kof. I'll add him as soon as the site will be back (seems to be down till tomorrow), cause I don't remember his name.

Plus, I 'll add my Vanessa spritepack when finished, and btw I started to rip kula. About 700 sprites has been ripped. I'm now renaming them for a easier use in mugen.)

Missed !  I was planning to start a Mai from CvS2 because existing one (from conversionworld) is really good but explods are from CvS and are really pixellized. So I would make a "BDI version" with better sparks, improved sprites (somes have some tiny glitches), and may be some tiny new stuff.

So if you can/have time, yes I would be pleased if you could ripp Mai CvS2 for me.

I do believe that was too the work of Recruta42, although I don't think he used the debug bios method to rip Heidern from KoF98...


As for my own rips, in my puny site you'll find:
- all of Shiva's sprites from Streets of Rage 2, plus a few edits on the side
- an alpha of DBZ's Cell containing an SFF with all of his sprites from the SNES Super Butoden 2 plus all of the sprites for Cell Junior in there too (these were ripped with a debug menu, access for which involves a code that was once mentioned in a tutorial XGargoyle had posted at Dev, and which I no longer remember - still, Bandai themsleves didn't exactly make a great job aligning those...)

Actually there is...including the stages, effects and "new" characters (vampire Sion, Shiki, Both Len's, Aka Akiha, Executioner Ciel, Neco Arc, Mech Hisui, Warcueid, Aoko and the Blood heat super for the characters from the first MB)

I stand corrected. You probably already have this capability SD but in case you (or anyone else that may want it) does not have this capability on my artmoney tables page I added my Melty Blood Re Act table.

To rip with perfect axis pause the game>view screen.

Start animations and frames on 0

Increase frames by 1 to frame advance. Once you reach the end of an animation increase the Animation adress by 1.

Occasionally you will crash do to the animation number not existing or if you go to far on frames.

Just keep checking the next number on animations and soon you will pick back up with new animations.

For ripping FX do a super move that blacks out the BG then freeze that address. It seems to be random so you can't always use the same numbers in the address to lock it.

I can't seem to lock certain FX such as Len's QCF+Fierce and I can't seem to lock her Blood Heat frames.  Let me know if you find an adress that can cycle through those. Untill then I'll just be "creative" and work to get those clean as I need them

I'm not quite capable..yet, no splitdat for re-ACT yet, if i had it, it would be all over the net by now

But yeah, Artmoney was more or less teh answer, i though Seven Ciel's sprites would be limited to....30 or so, but she had much, much more (thanks to Sion for the info)

So yeah, i guess you can make some kind of shot factory with Artmoney, the only effects that can't be ripped yet, are those that go through substraction (Len's mist from her Lv3 super, Warakia Tatari's new attacks, Nero's Blood heat, etc)

TDS, I DL-ed the Rock Howard pack, and I got the sparks twice in the main folder and in the FX folder... bad thing to name the Rock sprites with the same name (in this case, number) that those sparks

That's all, I think... if you can fix it, I'll been thankful
