What music do you guys have in your MUGEN? You can name them with your stages, but you don't have to.

KOFXI - Cambodia ~ KOFXI OST Disc 1 Queen
KOFXI - America ~ KOFXI OST Disc 1 Street Dancer
KOFXI - Italy ~ KOFXI OST Disc 1 Secret Circumstances
KOFXI - Japan ~ KOFXI OST Disc 1 Triumphantly
KOFXI - Spain ~ KOFXI OST Disc 1 After a long absence
KOFXI - Russia ~ KOFXI OST Disc 1 KDD-0075
KOFXI - Boss ~ KOFXI OST Disc 2 An Improvised Concerto (Arranged)
Original - Factoryka ~ KOFXI OST Disc 2 KDD-0075 (Arranged)
NBC - A View To A Kill ~ KOFXI OST Disc 2 After a long absence (Arranged)
NBC - A View To A Kill (Night) ~ KOF MI2 Disc 1 Mozukusu in the Mosque
NBC - Wide World of SNK ~ KOFXI OST Disc 2 Street Dancer (Arranged)
NBC - Monstrous Remains ~ KOF99 OST Disc 1 KDD-0079
NBC - Monstrous Remains (Night) ~ KOF03 Arranged OST Esaka'03 (< Win)

I know some music needs changing, but that's the way they are for now.

Street Fighter series (Original, Arrange, and remixes)
King of Fighters series (Original and Arrange)
Fatal Fury series
Samurai Shodown/Spirits series (Original and Arrange)
Last Blade series (Arrange and a remix of the character select screen from LB2)
Guilty Gear series
Soul Edge/Blade/Calibur series
Tekken series
Marvel vs. series
Capcom vs. SNK 1 and 2
Castlevania series
Super Smash Bros. Melee
The list goes on...

Don't know if this is offtopic or not, but does anyone know where I can find the OST to the JoJo Bizarre Adventure video game? The links on Orochi Herman's page don't work and all I can find are midi versions of Death13 and kakyoin's theme song.

I always make sure to have the correct songs for each stage. In my Capcom-style Mugen, I have all the SFA3 stages with all of their correct songs, and the same applies to Darkstalkers 3, Alpha2, and a few from Alpha 1, Darkstalkers, and NightWarriors.

In the SNK-style Mugen I have...I pretty much have about 90% of any songs played throughout the KOF series, as well as in SVC, Neowave, and XI.

A lot of it is mainly the original BGM for some stages, and the rest are RPG music that fits the mood for the stage.

If you're asking what game soundtrack we mostly use, then mine is the Guilty Gear games.

Some of my favorite tracks on the OST's:

Awe of She (Dizzy's Theme)
Megatona Furioso (Potemkin's Theme)
Blacklight Babe (Ino's Theme)

I've fallowed the steps to install music (even music for a peticular stage) but its not working. Do you know of any reasons why this could be? (No need for a full tut, just some common problems)

1. Put .mp3s/.mids in your sound folder. Can be others but from what I've heard they need plugins.

2. Look at the stage you want certain music for. Lets say my song is called 02 Esaka and it is an MP3.

3. Inside your stage's .def, look for [Music], and after 'bgmusic =', write down the path for your song.
In this case;
[Music]
bgmusic = sound/02 Esaka.mp3
bgvolume = 255

or in another case;
[Music]
bgmusic = sound/KenTheme.mid
bgvolume = 50

Or something. You get the point.

My most favourite soundtracks definately are the ones from GG series, PERFECT for kickass & fast fights!
In particular Suck A Sage (Chipp Z.), Holy Orders (Ky K.),  Meet Again (Justice), Fuuga (I forgot! xD), Conclusion (GG), Death and Republic (GG extra track).
Then sometimes when I´m in the mood for traditional style drvien fights, I as well really like the SF2 tracks from Ryu, Ken and Guile, but preferably really cool RREEMMIXXES, with rock! sugoi

Personally I just think, fast paced battles, fast and hard tracks, the original SF2 tracks back then fitted (or issit fit?), cause the fights themselves were rather slow, I mean, just look how they jumped hahar! xD
And some may like it, but common, the MVSC 2 BGM, I almost fell asleep, totally unfitting IMO!  Tongue
(Or the SFIII:3rd Strike, kill me for that, but I found the BGM kinda gay and just too slow, in the most tracks I couldn´t even notice if there actually was any ongoing melody I could follow! sugoi)

Don't know if this is offtopic or not, but does anyone know where I can find the OST to the JoJo Bizarre Adventure video game? The links on Orochi Herman's page don't work and all I can find are midi versions of Death13 and kakyoin's theme song.
