Version 4.3 is real, but I cannot vouch for the four-part Rapidshare link.

It's an "upgrade" done by a Russian team; Version 4.1 with all of the MK1 and MK2 characters, plus Reiko and both Tremors, Khameleon and Chameleon, MKDA versions of Sub-Zero and Scorpion and original characters "LK52" (Robot Sub-Zero) and "Dark", just a dark gray un-masked Scorpion with Sub-Zero's moves.

The version I found, after translating a shitload of Russian pages, was buggy as hell.  I couldn't get the game to load without crashing in the same resolution I play 4.1 at, so it always looks "blocky."  Most of the characters are just .sff swaps, so they've got the specials of existing characters and no fatalities.  Plus, there is no author credit in any of the characters and everything in the FAQ files is in Russian, so I almost feel a little guilty playing with it;  Someone probably just gathered all this stuff up and made their own select screen.  That screen, however, is awesome:

also...for some reason i cant get this damn game to run on my PC, it just crashes every time on startup.....is there anyway to fix this?
I think it might have something to do with the System.sff and System.def files. I remembered figuring out how to fix this problem several months back but forgot how.

I'm kind of iffy on downloading it. To anyone who got it working, is it really worth the hassle? I mean I'm a huge MK fan as is everyone here, but will this just disappoint me?

I'd just edited the System.def file, there were some line commands and what not that didn't belong..so i deleted them and it just happened to work.

Like MK2 Noob Saibot, MK2 Kung Lao and MK2 Jade, and so on. But like jake said...majority of them are just .Sff swaps..but they have their own combos at least.

I recommend a MKP programmer or Character Editor to Download this and modify some of the characters in MKP 4.3 to make them seem more original and not like everyone else. Only then can it be truly enjoyable...Id say its worth the DL.

But with goro's provided link parts to MKP 4.3, The file size are a WHOLE lot larger than Jakes Provided link...which makes me think that goro's provided links seem more officiant with more material in the game...I don't know. I haven't DL goro's links due to Rapidshares gay limitations and dl limits and wait time and a whole bunch of other bs....if someone can direct me via PM to sites that can generate Rapidshare premium links id find out a whole hell of alot faster.

That link tells ya how to get around rapidshare download limit. I didn't try it but I guess it works. lol.

If you already have MKP 4.1 just copy the System file from that and replace the one in your data folder. Then just edit what you need. It might be easier.

just overwrite everything thats in that winrar file to your data folder and you're good to go.

i download it it is so cool though the little words that are in mugen that are annoying are in mkp4.3 but out of all that the game

That web site should let you translate almost everything. It has some grammatical errors as usual, but you can make out a lot from it. And it can do whole web pages for you. There might be a better one out there I'm sure but I'm too lazy to look after I find a decent working one.
