Mustapha is really cool!  Shocked

One of the great aspects of PDC is this revival of old, but never forgoten chars. To bad my sprite skill are so lousy, because i`ve have a great colection of ideas id like to see in play. A Shinobi char would be really nice. Maybe use hanzo as base.

Hmm, Joe Musashi with the dog from Shadow Dancer (Poppy base from NGPC Galford) as a striker...

true ... legtal of the pockets and bring it back and former life ... Mustapha came to the idea of his pocket out of nowhere, i did try and it worked. Ja I have two characters with old ideas raise it in future also ... one of them and the other Pittfal and Ryu ninja gaiden. so I need to learn to program these characters in mugen still create the pockets because they are more on paper.  sugoi

For that someone would have to bother to sprite all of him (I'm not sure I can, lack of replies in the topic I created for feedback isn't helping), and to come up with ways to make some of his moves work in a 2d fighting environment, since in FF6 some of them look like full-screen moves...

no problem brother. I knew I could not post the sprites here for personal use if someone had an interest. Magus is already planning a Mustapha using my sprites more I will post them here on the topic "Edited character sheets", if someone wants to use feel free, do not have any problem.

so posted until now the basic attacks and super attacks, special because I'm still not finished editing the sprites of the other three characters in the game, when finished bring the rest for those who want to use.

About Warakia, as we talked on msn, you can't use someone as striker that isn't related to the char itself.

I said that we can't mix universes on strikers, right? But its not true: Alfred has Wong, that come from another game.

So, you can use Warakia for sure.

So I got no comments in that thread, although Iced suggested borrowing inspiration for the hair from the Guile sprites. Still, in the meantime I remembered Galford had a similar enough hair that's more appropriately chaotic, but I can't find any decent source of sprites.
Is anyone aware of any I might have missed?

Sam showdown sprites are harder to find, they were both smaller and I think they were also BW.

But maybe you can find the rom and rip off only a few heads, it should supply you with enough material for a while.

There were 2 SS games, the 2nd one was for the NGPC and afaik had as much color as any of the others. Could only find an Asura sheet though: http://sdb.drshnaps.com/sheets/SNK/Other/Asra.gif (yes, he's also pretty much black and white in the other games too).

The main problem with SS games is...they are smaller then the standard.

Back to the project...

- Zion made some MB to me:


- I`ve worked on the project Screenpack a bit. Nothing HOLYSHIT, just placeholders. System sounds, musics and custom cursor (I always wanted to make it Smiley) are finished.

- Hulk its almost done for the beta! Missing just 1 hyper and 1 super. I`ll upload a video soon.

- Metal Robotinik its almost done for the beta too! Missing just some fx.

Two things that crossed my mind:


- We could have, on the future....CHAKAN, from Genesis. That char was amazing!

- Miss X could be very humoristic. For example, "she" could have the Rainbow Insland`s rainbows as one move Smiley
