    AFTER SO LONG! HE IS RELEASED!

    he has a read me so i recommend reading it.
    he plays like a regular joe, NOTHING special or spectacular about him.
    however if your wondering WHY i should get something regular? the reason is because of my high res effects even if you dont like or care for joe, you might as well check him out for his effects. yup yup! ^_^

    BY THE WAY THIS CHARACTER WAS RELEASED AS A PART OF A LITTLE UNOFFICAL CONTEST WE HAD ON MFFA.

    Nice release. This Joe has potential imo. Here's some feedback I can think of:

    His big portrait looks weird.
    His close range Bakuretsu punch misses so you might wanna fix that.
    Other than that this character looks good so far.
    Just add some more sounds and you're good to go.
    If I miss anything I hope someone other than me will find it for sure.

    Keep it up with your characters. Looking foward for updates soon.

    ok finally got time to test him..

    a good character, heres what i think

    by now you should really be alble to code a throw :=/  characters with throws is a must for most people, and it seems odd that he doesnt have one.

    -slice kick, i noticed something when you do the move and arent near player 2 he doesnt extend his leg, which im sure you coded it that way, he extends his leg when neat p2 so he can connect with the kick, but however when p2 is in statetype = L, (ok liedown)  his leg extends... i would have thought it would look better not extending the leg either when p2 is down

    -not sure on the name....... those rapid punches.... the command time is too high.. you can do it even after youve punched and wait a while.
    also some width issues... might need to bring the collision (red) back a bit... or use a width sctrl.

    -the air kick(golden heel hurter)  the strong version... not sure on that.. something about the behaviour of it.. mayb too much movement in vel X or vel y dunno mayb its meant as an anti air move for that version or something but theres something that doesnt seem quite right with it, might be just me.

    but apart from that, the char is good... would have been nice to seem some creative supers though not just his original stuff... but i guess if you just wanted him to be "another" Joe then thats cool.


    p.s the effects are nice.

    - No taunt sound.
    - No jump sound.
    - No back dash/run sound.
    - Why does he have 4 power bars instead of 3?
    - Bakuretsuken is way off, it can activate as easily as tapping a Punch button twice, and the way it hits is also wrong.
    - Screw Upper lacks hit sparks when it hits.
    - Strong Golden Heel should not take Joe that far across the screen.
    - None of his normal moves are cancellable far as from I can tell, so he can't really combo at all.
    - Jump HK should not knock down.
    - Several normal attacks have infinite priority, along with Bakuretsuken.

    I also don't really like the portraits showing up during the supers, doesn't look right. Overall, he's not good, he feels like he was just thrown together for the hell of it. He controls really stiff and just doesn't feel like Joe at all.

    - Super portrait should have a "back" parameter, not a left. It should appear from the right it Joe is P2.
    - Using 2 portraits for 2 supers, both of them having completely different styles is not a good thing.
