DM-Suzaku Castle
« on: April 14, 2009, 09:57:03 pm »

Version? 1.1
Hi-res? YES
Super jump? NO
Animated? ONLY CLOUDS
Audio included? YES (AE & Prozax - Clamato Fever)
Eventual Plans for version 2.0? Maybe making the stage taller, so it supports super jump.
Thanks to: Caddie! for helping me out with floor's parallax (which is pretty damn difficult to set right).

Stage graphic originally comes from "Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix". How did I manage to rip those? Don't ask.

NOTE: If you're having troubles with .OGG music, go HERE.

Well, enjoy!

Epic

...also, everytime you release a new Hires stage...another Hires hater dies...How sad.

First update.

Version 1.1 details: With a little help from Chac, the floor's parallax has been improved even more. There was some little "bug" when the players where jumping.

Redownload the stage file.

Hi, I'm too lazy to browse through all the topics, so some general feedback for your stages :

Express 2 Death :
The shadows of the characters are really too dark and don't match those of the stage. Setting them as parking lot should be fine.

Orochimaru's Forest :
Not much to say. We can sometimes see some "gradient colorloss" towards the border of the stage, but that's Mugen's fault, downgrading the quality of the image on screen. :(
You really made sweet anims, and that's nice. :)

Suzaku Castle (tested on first version, disregard that if it's been fixed in the update, although you only talked about a problem when jumping) :
I guess the values for the parallax are kinda perfect, but not those for the element just behind the floor.
Move the characters from left to right and look closely on the pink line. You'll see the wooden floor moves compared to the "wall" just behind it. So either you have to change the parallax a little, either you have to modify the wall's velocity.

Apart from that (which is already nitpicking), very nice job. Good sprite rips, good seperation of the layers, correctly set animations => nice stage. :)
go your with your bitch [...] fucking alladin motherfucker
I've played fighting games before, hell... my first fighting game was Super Smash Bros. Melee
If you allow a little modification to a PS2 emulator which allow it to run PS3 games, it's a new engine

Thanks for those man, I will take the last feedback in mind in version 2.0 release.
