Currently working on Sailor Mercury's new special move with Blue Mary's Mary Spider then followed up by also her Head Crash (KOF 2000). Mercury won't be breaking anyone's arms as that just doesn't match her personality.

I felt adding this move since I've always felt Sailor Mercury should have an evasive special since she's pretty much the 'Chun-Li' in the Sailor Moon S Super Famicom game. Also I'd like to see these characters have a diverse set of moves.

Get to see a preview of it over at Trovo with me doing the pixel art. Recorded videos will only stay there for 7 days. Link below. Be sure to go to 'Video Room' then select 'Past Streams'.  All these videos will be edited and uploaded to Youtube in the future.

Giving Mercury a command grab. I'll make a separate animation for her DDT because they're similar.

I've been silently watching the progress you've been posting here and Twitter. It's been really cool seeing how far everything has gone and I'm looking forward to the finished results.

Oh hi Roman55.

Just curious are you still banned on SMF? That awful bigot Maria T. got unbanned there and Wolfy has gone full woke. Blocked me on Facebook but didn't block my official Facebook page. So I blocked him there. He even sent me a 'F*ck you' message on PSN.

Anyways, there's still more work to do. Hoping to finish within 3 or 4 years.

In the meantime there's a Sailor Moon Openbor demo available at Chronocrash.

Haven't checked but that's neither here nor there.

Anyways yea, I'd figure you'd take that long but the work you put in shows in the videos of the characters currently being worked on.

Sailor Mercury's basic movement, normals, aerial raves and a custom combo.

Anyways yea, I'd figure you'd take that long but the work you put in shows in the videos of the characters currently being worked on.

Pluto will be the last character I'll be working on. That hair is another extra hour of work. Venus takes at least 3 hours to finish. Chibimoon takes 1 and half hour most of the time.

Thanks. Glad to know these speed paint videos can help artists both new and veterans. This style is definitely not the easiest to work with even among experienced artists with the Mugen community.

Mercury's Tetsu Zankou. Had this idea with her dash attack with these next frames it's going to be like Andy Bogard's Zan'eiken.

Your sprites are awesome. Imitating that style of art looks quite laborious and you are doing fantastic.
Have a nice day!

Not sure if it will be used in a beat em up but it would look cool with Openbor.
