World Warrior is a game that has fighting game characters in a Tournament Held by Mr. karate and Sheng Long.
They want to see who is the Strongest Fighter in this Tournament they are Running.

Looks good as I said earlier.
I like the idea of retro fighter

But I would recommand to keep it like similar visual style.

Not sure Rabbit, Killer Instict, MK, or Guilty Gear would go with it to avoid the "mugen effect"
But you decide. :)

Also, aren't Tmnt tournament fighter (16 bits) sprites a bit small to match other arcade characters size?

yeah but fighter factory studio has the sprite filter which if i resize them a little bit, the tmnt fighter characters should fit

the content that mine will be the characters, screenpack
i'm editing the lifebars, and the stages are going to be by other creators who will be credited when the game is done.

I think you could add Fight Fever characters too, because they have a similar sprite style to this classic SF2-Like style.
Battle Masters (SNES) could be a good choice too, you just need to resize the characters.

And if you add Guilty Gear characters, they should be from the PSX Guilty Gear, becuase the GGX/GGXX sprites are too different.

There's also Doomsday Warrior, Power Moves and Seifuku Densetsu Pretty Fighter on the SNES, but i think the latter is too anime-esque.

yeah i agree with all of these and the guilty gear i was thinking of was the psx version

I don't even think the first Guilty Gear fits well with these, even. Anyway, Samsho 2, AOF, Justice League Task Force, and the various Power Rangers games might be nice, along with Ring of Destruction and Double Dragon.

With CS + palette work and effects it looks absolutely perfect...
particularly skin (without "white" area) Looks good on Joe.

I can't wait to see more. Like Chun Li, Cammy, Mai...

Here are my 2 cents:
1. I'm kinda worried about the Dashing's 'you can cancel mid animation with attack buttons'. Will that cost meter by chance?
2. I feel as if Warrior Fury, with the animation it currently has, would be cooler if you had to mash buttons for more hits. I feel like that would make it more interesting as a mechanic as it currently looks like a universal super to me.

well the dash cancel into attacks won't cost meter since, and it wont be an infinite since the dash has a big start up so the opponent will be able to recover so you have to
commit to attacking into a combo. and when you cancel the dash to dash back, you can't keep canceling the dashes back and forth like you see smash pros wave dashing in melee

warrior fury is universal super but it supposed to mimic how characters in anime charges someone then goes crazy and ends with a big hit, i can see what i can do to add button
mashing to add hits to warrior fury

update:
i added button mashing so it would depend on how much you mash to get more damage for warrior fury

Don't worry, the release version will be a vanilla version of the game.
Think of this as the Vanilla Version.
More characters will come in the other 2 versions of the game.

Sheng Long and Mr. Kartate will be challenging everyone to test their might in this Tournament!
Sheng Long and Mr. Karate will be the last video for sometime until i finish the lifebars and the screenpack.

(in this game Sheng Long is Gouken from another Universe where he is Ryu and Ken's
Master. how do he get to the main universe? that's is a mystery, just like Sheng Long)

Very exciting project, really liking your take on Sheng. Will we be able to use the characters from your fullgame in our normal Mugens? Exact type of shoto that's right up my alley.

I like this project since the first video!
Again As I told you I'm very glad to see you kept it alive when few months ago it was unsure if you would continue it!
Thanks for not giving up.

Adding ShengLong inside is a great idea, now he have fitting voices.
Even if I cannot unhear Gouken voices.
I had the same problem with SF4 Gouken, -> I cannot unhead SF3.1 and SF3.2 Ryu. Since it's the same voice actor.

But the result is good. and this is certinly the first version of him with fitting voices.

thanks for following the project,
this game was a private game until i decided to make it a public game.
Mr Karate will be the Second boss next to sheng long so after the mr karate video
i will make the screenpack and fully edit the life bars
