My favorites mostly songs from the Sonic series.

Outrun2/2006 can be included since SEGA made the game, and the songs sound as if the came from a Sonic game.

I also like music from the Donkey Kong Country series, Viewtiful Joe, Kingdom Hearts, and others.

Street Fighter 2 Instrumental, because it reminds me of good old times.

Ikaruga and Radiant Silvergun. Epic games from Treasure, and their OST is just fantastic.

Clash On The Big Bridge from whichever FF had it, for starters.  The instrumental from the Metal Gear Solid games, Snake Eater in particular.  The Namco fighters always tend to have strong soundtracks.  The Dynasty Warriors games keep a solid buttrock theme in their soundtracks, the best of which are the opening/Lu Bu tracks.  There's a few more that I can't think of at the moment.

Parasite Eve: Out Of Phase
MGS: All the variations of Inflitration
DKC: all of them
DKC2: all of them
MGS2: Twlight Sniping and Inflitration
GTA: CHART (the most inventive song I've ever heard)
FFVIII: all of them

that's all I can remember

Hmm... I have a lot of favorites, but I'll get the obvious out of the way.

Best of the Best, IMO: Anything Megaman: original, X, Battle Network, Zero, Legends, ZX, and even the obsure Megaman games. There's almost no Megaman soundtrack I haven't heard the music to and not like it.  (The only exception is the GBA Megaman & Bass; that was pure crap.)  It's obvious since Megaman is my favorite game series.

As for some others:
F-Zero (all titles, but especially GX)
Ninja Gaiden 1-3
Super Mario 64
Chrono Trigger
Sonic 1, 2, and 3/S&K
Sonic Advance 1-3
Castlevania: Synphony of the Night, Circle of the Moon, Dracula X (both SNES and Rondo of Blood versions)
Marvel vs. Capcom
Assault Suits Valken (Cybernator in the US) - the SNES soundtrack, not the updated ones
Vortex (bad game, but the music is very good)
DKC 1&2 (DKC3 was somewhat of a letdown)
Gradius: Lifeforce, Gradius III, Gradius V
Tetrisphere
Tekken 2 (the "Strike Fighting" Arranged Versions)

... and many more that I won't list because then it will drag on for too long, and the list keeps growing with both full soundtracks and individual tracks from different games.

I got a bunch of game music. But I should mention some of the not so widely known ones I have. Brave Fencer Musashi, Cave Story, Mercs (Genesis game), Dino Crisis, and Legacy of Kain.
