Hello everyone, I open a new 3d to keep the things clearer.

Finally After another YEAR AND HALF of work here you are the new version of my sagat!!

Adedd a lot of SFV Moves, super, stance, ecc.
There are a loooooot of improvements from the last year release, new moves, timings, sprites, ect..
New clinch system.
I've added 3 different stances based on the distance, + the crouching sf3style one , and fixed the focus attack problem.
The main one is SFV one.

I've added a loooot of new moves, and improved the old ones. The main style is again tekken-ish.
Even the taunt have been upgraded (every directions + s to change the taunt)

Designed to be played on Mugen 1.0 or Mugen 1.1

What you have:

- A.I. by me
- 300+ palettes (i think i've added every original color possible, and every palette for dw sagat i found on the net, + much more custom colors);
- max mode
- variuos styles included, but it's more similar to a tekken-style combo system.
- since i'm not a code master, you'll find this project coding far from perfect, please be patient.. :) :)

what's left to do.

-some cleaning (code, sprites, cns ecc)
-bug fixes
-Adding more different sounds from other games.

to make long story short, to perform most of the new moves, you have to act like with a tekken char (mainly bruce irvin), with forward/backward commands included.

I made this Sagat since i wanted to create the "definitive/most complete" Sagat Ever.
Since he's appeared in Street Fighter V roster, I've included a lot of sfv stuff but kept the tekken-style too, so you can perform combos, but inspired from "reality",
not simple x,y,z or a,b,c or x,a,y,b,z,c.

MAX MODE:
 - Your attack and defense is increased while in MAX Mode
 - EX moves can be performed at no power cost, though take away from time sustained in MAX mode
 - All Lv1 supers can be performed at no power cost, though immediately uses up all time in MAX mode
 - All Lv2 and higher supers will cost 1 power bar, along with using up all time in MAX mode
 - Even without a power bar, as long as you have time left in MAX mode, you can perform Lv1 supers/EX moves
 - You can not Power Charge/gain power while in MAX mode

well not everyone uses add004 and you might have to remove cause if you edit a patched character and restore it using add004 tool then all the changes you made would be erased

Yes, you're right, @ragingrowen: helped me some months ago to implement it.. but what's the problem if it's in??  Forgive my ignorance, but i don't know.. :???:
The main problem is how the 201702252 version that you use interacts with the 201903252 version of add004 I use making it impossible to see.

ok i'll  remove the addoo4, then i'll follow some tips trololo give me on pm, i'll fix some p2 states (using kfm as a dummy is quite useful, never did that before :( ).

I think you should limit the combos, there are some other combo that have more than 3 hits and can be chained even while the enemy is defending, which makes it quite tedious since it is a char based on combos and has thousands of it.
Make some only work when you actually connect the first hit. If not, it's a "any-hit can make a combo" char.

It's mostly a matter of balance vs style. Having tried the character, he feels a lot overpowered in a normal CvS roster because of those Tekken style combos. It's not a character flaw per-se.

Thanks, yes i fully agree with you.. I think that with my Sagat, the "CvS" acronym  it's a bit outdated from a while.. ;)

Honestly, and i cant believe im saying this but I think your Sagat just has too much in him.

With that many moves you couldve just split him up into different versions that way all of it wouldnt be just in one Sagat and he would feel more balanced.

Also some moves need to be toned down. Some should feel like lvl1s, lvl2s, and lvl3s, not some of them feeling like they are lvl3s but aren't.

I know you put a lot of work into and I definitely think your on to something but some moves also just imo dont look right. Like that move you used from Samchay. I feel like you already had enough of Sagats own unique moves that made him feel like him already till you didnt need that. Love how you did Tiger storm. Ive been eanting someone to code it that way for years.

seems removing the built in add004 code is the best option to work with ikemen go with the latest add004 addon :) hoping for an update many thanks :)

thanks my friend. No offence for sure, you're welcome. Honestly, i feel the same, i'm thinking my Sagat could be splitted in several versions.. but my coding skill doesn't allow me to do that. I'd love to do something similar done on chun-li by (right now i don't remember the author), where he included every appereance of chun li with specifical move set and sprites, and the mode selection at the beginning of the match.
I think it'll remain only a dream..

  • You can do some jank stuff when you do air tiger shot when you're almost at the ground, you can even waste a super doing this https://streamable.com/1x4b3e
  • A+B is an infinite anywhere https://streamable.com/4ztm2n
  • Tiger clench is still the most fucking stupid thing I've seen in a long time, along with the F,c, mash a being an infinite. Even with some of Ryou Win's robocop characters with their infinite mash grabs, I'd at least had to mash hard with them while with sagat I barely need to try https://streamable.com/9zw4ih
  • Debug flood for years, especially with the perry detection

  • This is a combo, also EX moves gain power and do consider that this is just one bar of super https://streamable.com/hji7fi
  • What's the point of a power charge when you gain power so fast anyways
  • Much like what R@ce said, this character could benefit by being split up into different modes considering there's 51 possible target combos alone with this character whose gonna manage that considering the day one stuff I've listed off here

I could frankly go on with the feedback but one things for sure I think there's more fundamental things wrong than just add004 going wrong.

Not without difficult I say "thanks" anyway, even if i think this kind of feedbacks aren't so nice. I suggest you to take example of other users (ex. R@ce), and keep a friendly tone.. "fucking stupid thing" etc etc isn't exactly a constructive feedback..
I'm well aware of most of that glitchs you mentioned above, but, as i told several times, i'm not so good at coding. Do you think i'm happy to create glitchs or bugs? If you don't know, my reply is NO. But, if i'm not able to solve them, and i don't have so much free time to improve my coding skills, and i've asked (with no luck except for @Ragingrowen ) for someone to fully beta test my sagat, what i have to do? quit the project?
do you know that i'm working on this Sagat from years? and i spent a lot of my free time to sprite edit, try to code something, to be able to share my creation with the community?
Answers like your are the reason that sometimes make me think to quit with mugen once and for all. :/
