i really like the musou series, strangely though, i got introduced to it through the english port of the first sengoku basara game devil kings (good game, terribly localized though). i've mostly played samurai and orochi, but damn they were very addicting, the character creation option in samurai was brilliant.
i hear the one piece musou games are very good too.

For me, it was Dynasty Warriors 4.
I played Devil Kings though and it wasn't bad...but I could not get used to the weird ass changes they made to the gameplay(you had to use strong attacks to weaken them so your normals could do damage, but you had to reapply it after awhile...just what the fuck).

I still have DW8XLCE on my computer...but I'd rather buy a new PC before going back into it again.

I love all the Warriors games. I have yet to play my copies of Dragon Quest or One Piece though. Probably my favorite spinoff is the Orochi series due to all the awesome crossover stuff.

I honestly want to play Hyrule and Dragon Quest Warriors myself and Warriors Orochi is my favorite spinoff series atm too.

I know and while I do like it for the most part (hate the shit Asbel pulled in his storymode tho), I would love to see an updated version with more characters on a console. There were plenty of characters that I wanted to see in but because they put it on the psp they would run of space. Just imagine casting JUDGEMENTO with Kratos in full HD on millions of desian grunts :D
Also Ludger from Xillia 2 in a Musou game would be just as awesome and just think how fucking destructive Dhaos would be.

wow. This was my 2nd favourite Diablo like game after Torchlight II already. Nice to see its still getting bigger and probably a bit better as well. For a free2play game its really great.
